    Who is defending the Tories?

Shall we make a list of those of you that constantly defend Labour?

Are you going to finally admit that Brown killed off final salary pensions when you just blame my generation for it? Just like you just blame my generation for Bliar going to war on a lie.

But as this would be a new method of dealing with inheritance intestacy rules could be changed so that an independent body would be appointed by a court. It wouldn't focus on no-will estates - it would be on all estates. I merely mentioned intestate as it would be a grey area that would need to be accounted for in legislation.

In such unbelievably rare and specific cases such as that an exceptional circumstances claim could be sent through the courts, fast-tracked if necessary if there is an imminent threat to their life.

Before you say that could leave it open to abuse, there is never a perfect piece of legislation and a false claim would be fraud.

The Tories have been in government for ten years and haven’t once considered reversing it. Secretly they’re thanking Brown because he had to make what was a difficult decision meaning they’ve dodged the bullet.

G, Dim, Baz, Dutch, etc etc

Shall we make a list of all the criticisms I alone have made of Labour and Corbyn in this entire thread? How about everyone else?

What you are basically proposing is a court and an independent body to control hard working people’s legacy to their children

    Its beyond disgusting

No one blames your generation for what Blair did... he can take that mantle all on his own.

And yes you are right - Brown did kill off those pensions, and I imagine the Tories would have done the same if in power at that time.

I understand you wanting to protect your pension... but are you planning on taking it at 65 or 75?
And what about those that aren’t in the position you’ve worked hard for? Should they work till they die under Tory rule?

I criticise him. Are you telling me he is above criticism when all the others are not?

If so just tell me to continue to criticise everyone but Corbyn.

Or just point out where Boris gets defended like Corbyn does.

Have you ignored the posts by BSB? That is what has got me going.

He blamed my generation for the loss of final salary pensions. And if Brown is to blame in any way it is still the fault of my generation. It is also the fault of my generation that Bliar went to war on a lie.

How come it isn't noticed sometimes how much diatribe some come out with?

Question BSB yourself. I would love to see the response you get. It is because of him that this bullshit has gone on all day. I always try to reply to everyone who quotes me. Only recently unblocked him. Looks like a big mistake.

I am planning on taking it at 55. Still have nearly 3 and half years to go. All that time of being over 800 miles away from my wife and 3 youngest kids. They went at the end of June.

Where have I ever said I want a Tory government? I want a Labour government. But I want someone I can have faith in. Blind faith isn't good enough. Look what happened with Bliar.

McDonnell plans to spend hundreds of billions in 5 years. That is a lot of borrowing and a lot of new tax increases. I am worried.

Why would you think that would make any difference?

Do you just want to get to whatever pathetic, ill thought out gotcha moment you are trying to achieve and save everyone some time?

You get into a huff about people refusing to accept criticism of Labour and Corbyn-but I and others who you presumably accuse of this have done so many times. Just look at the lengths G goes to in order to avoid criticising Johnson for his obvious flaws.

It’s like you have the same response for whatever anyone writes and as though you don’t read it.

Most of the so called defence of labour is people picking up G for constantly throwing “but labour” out against any criticism of the tories.

It’s like this idea that I am Mart. I don’t think I’ve ever defended the EU. I’ve mainly pointed out bullshit and hyperbole in the Brexit arguments.

You miss the wider point. Collectively your generation messed up. You brought up Gordon Brown ages ago-I didn’t deny him being to blame but you went on for ages as though I had and then again here.

Guessing that this is related to the idea that nobody allows criticism of Labour so they wouldn’t allow Brown to be criticised for anything. Again it’s like you have the same reply lined up regardless of what it is you’re responding to.

That is one person who we all expect it from whatever the subject is. Sometimes right but frequently not. And it is mainly opinions which I say nothing about most of the time.

So when was the last criticism that you agreed with? Keeping quiet isn't agreeing with it.

I proved it yesterday that you tried to make out it wasn't the fault of Brown. Look at one post of tours I brought up. 'Even if Brown did cause the damage to pensions' was the best admission I could ever get from you. But you then ended up with making out it was the fault of my generation for what Bliar and Brown did.

If, as what my worry is, McDonnell gets in and spends hundreds of billions in the next 5 years and makes a mess of our countries finances meaning that the Tories get back in and go on the austerity push once more will it be your generation to blame or mine?

I can see you're name calling tactics "thicky" etc have gone up a fair bit just recently. If you want to play that game then you're up against someone who can up it tenfold if that's the way you want to play it. I hope you're not going to be one of those who likes to dish it out and can't take it. I might well be thick, but i'm not an arrogant bastard who calls everyoe who voted the other way.

All the name calling needs to stop. Then we can get down to that silly word 'debating'. Then maybe we could all learn something.
