I love how 1000 pages of Brexit is more tolerable than 2 pages of martcov and ADM doing their own recreation of the Ross v Chandler trash talk scene.

Mart and ADM are only filling as we’re waiting for sunlit uplands/apocalypse.

Noone on here has any sympathy for you whatsoever, regardless of your best efforts to play the victim .
You don't need to go to games to comment on ccfc. You're just not interested in ccfc.

Meanwhile johnson and hunt prove they don’t care about the uk by threatening no deal if they can’t (and they won’t) get the eu to change the terms of the withdrawal agreement. Oh well they and their mates won’t lose out so who gives a shit eh!!

No one has sympathy for me? WTF are you on about. Sympathy because some weird guy keeps trolling me? I am on here because I am interested in CCFC. Instead of browsing through what is happening with CCFC, all I get is you trolling me. Yes, I am the victim. You are trying to get people to gang up on me for your own sick pleasure.

You need help.

I obviously do need to go to games to comment on players’ performance. I live 1300 kilometers away. Doesn’t stop me being CCFC.

But, you are intent on smashing me in some way. Internet troll or cyber bully. Whatever.

The thing is, you obviously have problems. No one else would spend so much time just to annoy someone or to try and get others to gang up on someone.

Why don’t you just accept the fact that you have a problem?

I only caught a glimpse of the word "bollocks" on the back of the shirt but I'm assuming there was other wording such as "I'm talking ." " I've got no " or ".....to the poll tax ". or the like.

The 2 parties in there today showed why we are where we are. 2 different positions so utterly entrenched that finding a middle ground is virtually impossible. And probably because they know if there was a deal made to leave that they would end up totally redundant.

Why would any normal person not block someone simply because the other party is the "aggressor"?
That is ever so slightly the whole point surely ?. You ought to read what you write . If what you say above is true , then for anyone else it would be a no brainer.

You don’t enhance my or anyone else’s life. You are now obsessed with blocking. What a weirdo. Your current aim is to annoy me so much that I block you. You call that entertainment.

What will you do if I block you? Run around the room celebrating? Tell your wife that you‘ve finally been blocked on an Internet forum? Take her out for a meal to celebrate?

Not only that, but the Nazi Party deputies did exactly the same in the Reichstag in 1926. The format of the BXP rallies with Farage being introduced as the leader/ Führer and walking through jubilant crowds with their arms in the air seems to following the same successful tactics used by Goebbels. Not saying that the end target is the same, but the tactics seem eerily similar. Add to that references to wartime, playing air raid sirens and portraying the media as liars and you get an uncanny feeling of déja vue.

A certain section of the public doesn’t care and even finds these things good. That is the target audience.

Populism is populism. And it works sadly.

Had a chat last night with a mate who a few months ago got proper obsessed with the Tommy Robinson stuff online. Said he stopped because he found himself getting angry at people and when he thought about why there was no actual reason other than some bloke on the Internet told him to. And in the cold light of day that’s laughable.

Gave me hope that well all snap out of this eventually. Got another mate going full on far right at the moment, telling me London is an Islamic no go zone and all that. This is a guy who used to drop acid at the peace festival and talk about fighting Nazis.

Populism in reality is just political parties marketing. Manifestos always include unworkable offerings (whether ill thought out or simply lies to mislead just to win the vote). Brexit was achieved by the same means aided & abetted by: incompetents on the Remain campaign; a complacent EU; ill thought out & politically selfish EU policies; a sensationtalising media.

That said - people that didn't vote may well be the ones who ultimately have still led us to where we are now (assuming that most of them were also complacent & would have voted to Remain)

Still think the result should be honoured, still think we will come out the other end in the long term in a similar standing (especially the average man in the street), but at least the media will be more focused on the inconsistencies & injustices within the UK rather than mocking the wider EU

It is a simple formular ... find an enemy- foreign or a minority, preferably both. Lead a negative campaign against the perceived enemy. Soon people are angry at the enemy and no longer looking critically at your policies, or even asking what your policies are. The main thing is „us and them“ and we have to fight them and defeat the them. We do it by giving power to the ones who discovered and built up the perceived enemy, who probably wasn’t an enemy in the first place. The tactic is blatantly obvious, except to the people who have fallen for it.

No that’s not populism.

Populism is specifically aimed at complaints working class people have that are being “ignored”. Except usually that’s because they’re not an issue or they’ve been considered and found lacking as policy solutions.

Anti-immigration stuff is populism. “Fuck the bankers” stuff is populism. “Brexit” as a solution to everything from low pay to rebalancing the economy is populism. “Spend more on the NHS” isn’t, that’s a real policy that can be discussed.

Farage and Corbyn are populists, so is Johnson. It’s about garnering support rather than seeking solutions. Light on facts and heavy of blaming shadowy enemies. Easy to spot because they melt when asked for detail.

Johnson’s leadership campaign is the perfect example of populism. He’s barely campaigned, when he has its rarely on policy and consists mainly of slogans.
