Wife has gone.....bought tickets with her mates. The daughter also wanted to go and so bought tickets independently with her mates as didn't want to be seen with "Old people" and they have all got into their seats and both groups are in block 24 with daughter just 4 rows in front.....pissing myself!! Anyways..currently waiting to pick the pissed wife and mates. Daughter and friends are being very sensible and not drinking and driving back to Nottingham.

Dropped the missus and daughter off for the concert.
Went home and listened to Brotherhood by New Order and The Second coming by The Stone Roses in total peace with zero interruptions.

Also saw We Will Rock You at the Belgrade last night out on by the Coventry Musical Theatre Society, incredible show considering all the actors are not professional and do it as a hobby! Still a few more shows over the weekend

Im going to the Etihad in 2 weeks. The missus went to the Ricoh last time it toured and really enjoyed it. Never seen them before and never really been a massive fan but everyone I know that went to the last tour only has positive things to say so thought I may aswell.

Hopefully we will have more major acts every summer , going to see Bill Bailey and Jack Whitehall later in the year .
My daughter loved the concert last night , there was a rowdy bunch of women where we were initially stood to the right of the stage where the hot air balloon was so we moved round towards the dugout decent space easy to access the stairs great view of the stage
