That's us in turmoil now, we have no money from gyokeres or Hamer, we've got dumber and dumber as strikers who can't be assed half the time, and then we've got backwards sideways backwards sideways dictating our game and speed.

Over 2 games we deserve to lose weight was spinless, not a fucking chance we would have beat Sheffield United so it's saves us from that embarrassment instead we've got to listen to the mackens for 10 fucking years.
Scaremongering at it's best

Given how the two matches went you would have thought it would be us with the legs and energy in the second half ET
No their plan was to tire us out and hit us on the break. I suspect they'll employ the same tactic against Sheff Utd. Think Hamer alone will rip them a new one.

People are slating Wright and usually post heartbreak emotions cloud the judgement.

But I can honestly say Wright has been shambolic the last month of this season. He's failed to control every ball, he's lost every ball, he's been slow, lethargic.

How on earth Lampard left him on I don't think I will ever know

Pretty sure he was only left on the pitch to take a pen. He was pretty useless tonight, every time he went to trap a ball, he'd miss it or give it away.
Agreed that ever since Sunderland in the season he's kinda been on the beach. He's the type of player that 15 or so years ago we'd be fuming at, because him (and simms) have a very lazy style to the game.
Still trying to understand that offside from Grimes today, late contender for one of the worst linesmen flags of the year.

Overall we were the better team over both games and Sunderland didn't deserve it. That said, we'd have been utterly trounced at Wem and believe Sunderland will be too. Going to be an NFL score if the ball lands kindly for Sheffield.

When Lampard took over I told friends that the minimum was the play offs as I firmly believed Robins would have turned it around and we'd have finished at least 10th, so I'm happy that the team did that, just a shame we couldn't take the final few steps. Next season I'm sure King will back Lampard along with the likes of some up and coming loan signings, it could be a very good season.
It's never boring being a City fan!

People have been saying for nearly 3 years now that King has no money, yet every transfer window we spend a fair bit. This summer will be no different
Let's be honest we'll have the 10% Gyokeres money. Reckon that'll be at least £5m (hopefully more). I think blunts are very likely to lose Hamer so possible cash injection their. And i think we're highly unlikely.to hold on to MVE so let's hope we hold out for as much their as we can (£12-15m minimum I'd say). And if we can get £5m combined for Wright, Simms and BTA I'd snap their hands off. Take the loss and strengthen. Add to this and Lamps can call on his contacts for a few loans to add depth. If we can keep hold of our midfield 6, Saka and EMC, we only really need to add 2 decent strikers, a RB, a CH to cover/push for start (not lats or binks) and a keeper. 5 maybe 6 players and keep the midfield together, and we can push

Odd season.

Yes, we made the play-offs as many expected. But we had to sack Robins and climb from 17th place to do it.

And then were undone by a daft mistake at the back, right at the end of our season. Let's not mark the player who has bossed the Sunderland defence in the air when he comes for a corner.

We're not good enough from the start of the season for promotion. And until we fix that, its Championship Forever.

£5m for someone we turned down £2m for, Simms and one of the most prolific strikers in the division? I’m glad you’re not in charge of negotiations!

Plenty of value in the squad to wheel and deal

The entitlement of some of our fans is amazing- expecting King to dip in his pockets. Sell and recycle. Hate today it but if we get a massive bid for Rudoni you sell and reinvest - we’re Cov not PSG.

What? Since turning down £2m for BTA, he's done nothing. One of the most "prolific" scorers in the league has been missing for the best part when it matters. Id pay someone to take Simms. So yeah, if we could get £5m for the 3 of them to put towards 2 or 3 decent strikers, I'd snap their hands off. Granted, I'd like more, but lets be realistic, I don't see us getting any offers for Simms or BTA and not big ones if we do. And i think we'll take a big fat L on Wright because I don't see us getting our £7.7m back on him
