He could sign anywhere as a free agent. We could also sign a free agent. But if he is ok with just being around the squad then, yeah, he can stay.

We could sign a free agent if we keep him but dont register him.

He couldnt sign anywhere as a free agent, it would need to be overseas

He couldn't if he is released after the window ended.

If it was agreed (but not announced before the window ended) then yeah he could.

Strange, im sure they were before.

Usually when a player transfers away whilst in the game it just locks their price as is rather than taking them out.
 
It might mean we are still without a free agent. Im pretty sure its happened in previous seasons we have registered players incorrectly or didnt use the full 25.

Does it say the club have confirmed it?

He might well have been omitted but originally they put the palace player in there, their fix could have just been to take him out but not add Bidwell back in.
 
Andy Turner seems to confirm this about Bidwell being left out... And this being with a view to a free agent coming in. You would have to think something is close on this front to completely omit Bidwell. Bidwell is basically frozen out now unless he goes abroad!

Clear recency bias, had Hull lost both opening games the narrative would’ve been 180’d.

I also don’t think Hull will do well this season. They had more Championship players than we did on Saturday.

Still think it's weird the club haven't said anything.

Obviously if he's left out Bidwell would have been well informed beforehand but just thought they would have said the final confirmed squad.

Must be a free agent in the pipeline then but who? A few decent ones out there with PL experience.

I don’t think he can just go abroad as it depends what window is still open if any and let’s be honest he isn’t gonna go to Saudi which is open until Sunday . There are plenty of others still open but I don’t see it

Just symptomatic of the recent crap communication from the club Nick.

No idea what Comms/Press team are doing and who is in charge of letting folks know what the fuck is going on.

Completely understand that Joe Public doesn’t have to know everything but they’ve been incredibly silent over a number of important issues since the start of the season.

Defo could do better.

I don't know the ins and outs but perhaps the full compliment hasn't been registered as there aren't enough home grown players ?leaving a space for an emergency keeper ? Leaving a space to promote one of the overage kids ?
