Sisu protest (11 Viewers)

We need to get down to london and start protesting on sisus doorsteps.

We play Crsystal Palace away tuesday 16th August and that could be a perfect time to do it, we need numbers tho, 1 or 2 car loads off ppl turning up will not be enough, we need fans turning up, london supporters club members etc would be a help.

if we could get 50 or 100 or more there with sisu out banners and start singing a few songs that would be a good start.

The place to go is Sisu Capital. 11-12 Hanover Street. London. W1S 1YQ.

If we could get people turning up there for say 3pm that would give us a bit of time to have a go before heading down to selhurst to cheer the boys on, something needs to be done and the sooner the better or they will just keep on shafting us and selling players and we will be in league 1 before we know it!!

Would be great if we could get something sorted for this, it would be far more effective than doing anything at the ricoh where no sisu represtentatives can be botherd to turn up for matches, they just leave it to "the new board" as they dont want the flack.

WELL LETS CHANGE THAT!!!

Remember the place to go is Sisu Capital. 11-12 Hanover Street. London. W1S 1YQ.

In the meantime if any1 fancies giving them a ring their number is 0207 290 5450.

We need to start doing something about them, we have sat back and done nothing for far too long, im fed up with them taking the piss.

of they might turn around and say "fine we'll fuck off then, who's paying the bills now?"

Hardly likely to happen Macca - they have been offered a way out by Hoffman and haven't been tempted yet so to walk away and write of the £24m in loans their investment funds have given to SBS&L is not going to happen.

so we will all just sit here for the newxt few months and see our club disintergrate in to lge 1 then shall we?

we need to start putting pressure on them, i believe in the hoffs consortium so aq protest wont do no harm, infact with the proposed meeting only a couple of weeks away it could be a good time to do it.

we seem to have too many fans that "cant be arsed" to do nowt, thats our problem.

good point but in that case neither would a few peeps shouting out them make any difference either?

Did we ever have proof of the Hoffman offer?

thats why we need to give it a go.

they have had it too easy sitting out of the way down there in london while clouting etc have to provide the waffle from within the club up in coventry.

so its about time we go down there and test the water and show them we care about our football club they are currntly doing their level best to ruin.

Nah, I'll either have an aneurysm or get evicted from the stadium for foul and abusive language if we get too many more days like yesterday

Brinner you are seeing the big problem we have in getting supporters to make their mark, we are the most apathetic fans in the country bar none. We are watching OUR club bleed to death and nothing is being done other than from Gary Hoffman and friends. There are even people on here and other sites who seem to believe SISU will deliver, what planet are they on ffs ! We could go into the prawn sandwich stand at the next home game but i guarantee as soon as you open your mouth you get thrown out and even barred from going again. My first protest is at this bullshit forum in Kenilworth hopefully and Clouting is my target, get your arse there my friend.

Hopefully I will be there les-mis and youre right its a starting point to at least make these people know that we do care about our club and its survival

We cant just run in there demanding them to leave without a proper agreement sorted out. Thats completely stupid. By all means go there and hope you get to speak to someone who can answer questions, but trying to drive them out of the club will not work.

Most people aren't going to offer their support for protests on here or other forums mainly because, they fear being shouted down by superior fans who know better than they do.

But trust me, should there be some kind of action inside or outside the ground, people would join in. In fact I think the only reason we didn't hear anti-SISU chants yesterday was because it was Leicester and the more vocal fans were more intrested in singing about them.

Could well be a different atmosphere agaisnt Watford, especially if we are still on zero points.

I m all for them leaving, but a protest also should argue for an alternative. As it stands we don t have one

great thread mate but i reckon the city of coventry as a whole has a cant be arsed attitude these days, if it didnt there would have been more than the misserable 15,000 home fans at the ricoh on saturday. Listening to Leicester scum singing "your grounds too small for you" hurt but when you looked round it was probably true :(

and before anyone starts my last message was meant to read "your grounds too BIG for you' by the Leicester fox scum:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

The idea is excellent but why don't we just do it at the Ricoh,we would get more fans and also a sit-in would get attention for sure.

do it at the ricoh after every home game aswell, problem is sisu never have any ppl there other than the board members that shield them from the crap.

so we need to go to their head office to show their top brass that we aint gona stand for it anymore.

causing a scene in the middle of london will get in the prerss down there locally and they wont like it 1 bit, then do the same for millwall game if they are still here and so on.

we need to piss them off as much as possible.

We didn't get 100 marching when the club was about to go out of existence, you won't get 100 to drive down to London for a pointless moan at some receptionists.

The fans have been so ground down over the years by Richardson, Robinson et al that any fight has been just extinguished - doubt we will have 100 going to the Palace game let alone going on a protest march

The damage caused by Robinson and Richardson has had a lasting effect. These are the real culprits for the state Coventry City FC finds itself in

i believe in the hoffs consortium

Why? Apart from Hoffman being a Cov fan and the insinuation that he has connections (with no guarantee that people with financial smarts would get involved in something as reckless as football finance) what about it gives you such faith?

correct that would get you nicked for aggravated trespass and a minimum three month cautionary banning order

So.....what happen's if you get SISU to leave and no one is interested in taking us on?

Although they'll never admit it to the press, SISU want's to sell CCFC - it's making big losses and they've biten off more than they can chew. They're venture capitalist's, a sucessfull company loaded with sucessfull business minds and as far as I'm aware the only interest they've generated is from a Cov kid in Hoffman - who offered SISU nothing for the club.

SISU may be seen as the bad guy's but in reality whoever takes us over will probably run us in a similar fashion, unless we strike it rich with a Sheik or Oil Tycoon decides to take us on. Someone with shitloads of disposible money is our only hope of getting us in a position that all of you who want SISU out, want/demand - not holding my breath just yet!!!

What happen's if SISU sell to Hoffman/ an other company and we end up in a worse position?!?! Will you then want them out?

If your going to get something organised you need to know what you want to achieve, do you want them to know we're not happy just surviving, do you want promotion, do you want them to futher risk the future of the club. After that you need to find out how to achieve that. Messages on a football board aren't going to get that done, get involved with the Sky Blue Trust and make it worthwhile, get in contact with the club and find out just what's going on - in reallity we as fans have NO IDEA what is going on behind the scenes.

to be honest with you guys, from an experienced protester, going to london with less that 300 or 400 people will make absolutely no difference to anyone and the press wont give a toss, London has about 200 protests a day from all walks of life, its nothing to see a different protest on most major streets down there. the camera crews wont give a toss, you might get the odd german or swedish crew wanting to know what your protesting about but thats it. now actually go into the building and kick off... well thats different but you wont do that will you. the fact is youll all stand there and shout and chant but sorry lads, they wont give a toss and they wont sell up for the sake of a protest, they have millions invested in the club, would you care about the feelings of the fans when you are millions out of pocket? the fact is fellow fans this is what happens when you sell your soul to the devil, letting sisu buy us (venture capatilists) was allways going to lead to best players being sold for proffit whilst the clubs debts are held in a seperate company,,, you see??? keeping profits away from the debts...., when they do eventually sell they have made the money from the players sold ... and stil dont have to pay off the debts. we have been conned. the worse thing was loads of us said this would happen with sisu but we were shot down by fans who thought the lord jesus had resurected in the form of sisu. paying the price now arent we.

can i just add if you want to protest ... you have the lawfull right to do so, so to avoid arrest for unlawfull trespass etc after a game or a sit it, you have to inform the police and the local authority that you are seeking to protest at such a place and at such a time. then if there are problems the police or local authority must inform you. you can then get a court order to have the right to protest. thats the proper way to do it. however it wont happen, this is coventry we wont start protesting until there is 5 games to go, we need 12 points to stay up, down to youth team 15 year olds making their debut and the club are anouncing liquidation .... just like us coventrarians, wait for the bombs to fall first before thinking about taking shelter.
