Sisu protest (2 Viewers)

if the worst does happen and CCFC dies all those who did nothing will have to live with the fact that THEY LET THEIR CLUB DIE. :blue:

The thing is that these clubs don't really belong to the fans anymore do they? I'm majorly disillusioned and would love to get a true fans opinion on this:-

- If you look at the fact that your club (and this works for most clubs) is owned by investors aiming to make profit and only wish the club success as money is a by product of this.

- Less than 5% of public facing employees give a hoot about the club as long as they get paid. (Possible the manager and 2 players on avarage).

- The cost of a day at a game is not proportionate to what you get out of it. It isn't value for money and plays on the exploitation of your feelings for the club.

My question is this, what part of the club do you feel in tune with? Surely it's nothing more than the fact that it is called Coventry and you like the name/were born/live there!

Personally I don't feel in tune at all and it gripes me even more that the football we endure is crap. When you think about it, why the hell do 18000ish people turn up to spend a Saturday being ripped off?

Yes, the same Joe Elliott, who believed at the time SISUwould stick to a plan that was clearly set out by Ranson to take the clubforward. SISU have quite clearly ditched this plan. Elliot, Ranson & Hoffman were on the board, but stood upagainst the decisions your refer to. And so Ranson, Hoffman& Elliot have all now distanced themselves from SISU. If they hadn’t, yourpoint would be valid.

But they have, so it’s not.

Elliott didn't make a stand against them, he went behind their backs and was found out. And what I was refering to was Elliott's time on the board during Robinson's/McGinnity's rein, he didn't stand against them either!

The way I see it, he was on the board that made the dreadful decisions that have lead to the problems SISU (and any future owners) have to cope with, and he was one of the main backers of the big bad SISU. I personally don't want Elliott anywhere near the club.
