4pm is the cut off for CHAPS (same day payments that large) IIRC. So if it was sent today it should be there by then.

As soon as the money is paid into ACL then its all but done and dusted, they will have enough cash flow to keep them going for this financial year and SISU can try what they like they will not get hold of the stadium. So time to sit down and negotiate terms for a return

Why play this game of brinkmanship FFS. If you really do intend to have a future working relationship with ACL/CCC then pay well within the time and drop the Appeal as early as possible.
Surely building bridges is what's required now and it would show a positive attitude to getting things sorted. A missed opportunity me thinks.............

Its like a bunch of kids. We've been told for weeks the money is all sat in escrow ready and waiting but they won't pay it until the last possible second.

Surely this money should have been paid already? The funds were in an escrow account pending the outcome of the Football League's decision?

I'm sure it's been asked before but what will happen if (my bet) the money isn't paid? Points deduction?

I'm expecting them to pay, it would be a new and dangerous low for them and us if they don't, I just don't see how they could not pay.

Unfortunately I am expecting them to appeal, in the past it's been after the final appeal date when we found out they had done it and I expect the same here, no news is bad news imo, if they wern't appealing they would have told us and used the dropping of it to get more fans to put pressure on acl.

no doubt we'd have to wait till the next football league meeting to find out, of course the smart thing would have been to decide the punishment last time so it pressures payment but the football league dont do the smart thing.

Rob Stevens should know whether there is a payment expected.
He seems very quiet these days.

Nah, Rob comes on here on Fridays as a rule with his latest topic of the week soundbites. "Time to put more pressure on the Council/ACL etc..."

Why they could not do this earlier is beyond believe.

They are a baffling lot which I can never understand.

I fear now they will tell us in tomorrow deadline that the Appeal is on, so predictable.

Everything in the last minute and we wonder why we can't get decent players if they are playing these last minute games.

Thanks for that Tim/Joy/Mark/whoever. So now we just have to drop the legals and then ACL will talk to us about returning to Coventry (whilst we build our new stadium?)

Well dropping any chance of an appeal against them is not an excuse.

Any business will do the same, can't see why ACL should be any different.
