I called it out as it was happening and it was then judged so in a court of law. It's SISU's fault that Wasps are here in the first place. Nobody here is oblivious to that. You still can't explain why Eastwood was able to distinguish between club and owner in 2014 but can't now. Or why he seemed to even understand the legal action from a business perspective but not now. Is it because of a moral epiphany or because the Wasps project is losing money hand over fist and crowds are dropping by the thousands? Why did Cllr Lucas talk of a 'pathway to ownership' when the finishing touches were being written on the Wasps deal?
Now there is awkward documentation that shows ACL were actively exploring the idea of relocating Wasps to Coventry pre rent strike. CCFC's fate will not end the legals. I think CCC, London Wasps, the CET and anybody else involved are absolutely shitting it. They tried to play the exact same game as last time when it worked for them but this time their opponents were more prepared and they've been left looking like wankers with nothing to fall back on.
