Well the club must see some benefit in taking part, else they wouldn’t have bothered
Sure there's a benefit. Will be a fantastic experience for the players who went.

But I don't think there's enough of a benefit for King to have got the cheque book out to fund it. Assume with this type of tournament the hosts paid the clubs to take part. Just wondered who that investor was and what they perceive to be the benefit considering there seems to be about 100 people max at most matches.

Reckon Yearn would do a job in League 2 on loan or would he be a VNL job?
He's about the same age as Bassette and has already done the equivalent of a 1/2 season in the NL and chalked up a few appearances for former L2 club Cambridge Utd. Kai Yearn - Wikipedia I could see him being loaned back to Cambridge.

It sounds like this was the first one in Singapore, so I’m not surprised the stadiums weren’t full. The one in Hong Kong is really well supported, thousands of people for each 3 days.
Also, what does it matter? We’re not throwing money at it and it’s the u21s. I honestly don’t think it’s anything you or I need need to be worrying about or questioning.

Probably Overson playing the long game, get into em early and they'll tell him the team sheet in 5 years.

Batanwi looked really good before his ACL, i think he has the potential to be a very good player. Be interested to see if his name gets mentioned in and around ryton as well as Yerns.

Avoided the scores and watched the last day clip above. Well done our lads, not only young and skilful, but strong and stood up to some of the bullying and physicality of the older teams. Proud of them.

Edit: just to add, it's a shame the club official website haven't any mention of this in the news section.
