Reckon Yearn would do a job in League 2 on loan or would he be a VNL job?
Hard to judge from this because the format allows so much more space and time, but he's older than Bassette (which I'm sure in a lot of people's eyes means we should just write him off) so league two should probably be the aim.

Well the club must see some benefit in taking part, else they wouldn’t have bothered
Sure there's a benefit. Will be a fantastic experience for the players who went.

But I don't think there's enough of a benefit for King to have got the cheque book out to fund it. Assume with this type of tournament the hosts paid the clubs to take part. Just wondered who that investor was and what they perceive to be the benefit considering there seems to be about 100 people max at most matches.

He's about the same age as Bassette and has already done the equivalent of a 1/2 season in the NL and chalked up a few appearances for former L2 club Cambridge Utd. Kai Yearn - Wikipedia I could see him being loaned back to Cambridge.
