Still lots of questions after the team news. Will it be 4-3-3 with Chaplin-JCH-Thomas or a 4-4-2? If 4-4-2 will Ogogo play higher or back to the 2 deep CMs like last season and will our strikers play as a pair? Assuming Davies is injured with him not even in the squad so wonder how fit Willis is after last week or has he been rushed back to cover?
Heart says City 3-0, Head says Shrewsbury 2-1. Stomach says nervous - time for a beer!

Says a lot that the team gets announced and still nobody has a clue what formation we will be playing!

Can see JCH getting dominated up front on his own. Ogogo needs to step up and put himself a bit and run the midfield, assume Kelly will be sat deep.

Looks like another lucky dip starting 11.

Come on nick, many want changes, some enforced ones too on the looks.

Dammed if he sticks, dammed if he twists.

Side needed changes

On the front foot team. Potentially lots of attacking wing play from Thomas, Brown and Sterling and even Bayliss so i'm hoping JCH and Chaplin can at least attempt to get in the box off the defenders shoulder and fill their boots. Ogogo needs to perform and play for a place. Assume we will play higher up the pitch and will be looking to be first to the second ball. This way we should perform better....

I think it'll be 442, same as last season with Bayliss back at right midfield where I think he is much more effective.

I think you mean much less ineffective.

That goal kick is more like it. JCH won the header with Chaplin running off him in behind. Let's see more of that.

They have just missed a sitter, should have been an easy header in at the far post.

Luke Thomas looks to be on the left. Chaplin is still the deeper striker. Bayliss on the right

We are letting them get into shooting positions too much.

Need a draw at minimum today. Just hope we don’t retreat into our shell if we go 1up or if it is 0-0 with 30 to go.

And 3 points against Charlton. Much more important!!

Willis has just been done in the air by Haynes!

They love the counter attack, really quick to get the ball down our end and get a shot off. Luckily it was poor.

Just need a bit more composure on the ball. We look like a side lacking in confidence - everything is a bit rushed and Shrewsbury pressing hard. Think it will settle down now and hope we push out a bit.

We have fuck all up front, it's just coming back at us everytime we hammer it forward. They then pick up the 2nd ball and come back at us.

Haynes crosses, their player heads it down. Ogogo with a shit clearance, their midfielder strikes it and deflected over.

They must have had more shots than we have all season.

Shot on the half volley for them was going wide I think but cleared by Kelly. Somehow ends up a throw in for them in our half.

It is just like an attack vs defence drill. We are giving it them to come back at us.

Kelly runs into a crowd of 3 of their players for some reason.

Sterling puts a cross in but only JCH in the box.

What formation are we playing?

Chaplin may as well have had the day off, JCH just having long balls towards him that he isnt winning.

Bayliss anonymous, Thomas not been in the game. They are walking through Ogogo and Kelly like they arent there.

Om here and listening, but we need to get a grip of the game, otherwise not going to end well. Need some help from the football gods to help rebuild the confidence,

They really arent scared to shoot at all. Granted the last one was shit but if they keep trying it will end up going in.
