Hmm, really getting annoying to hear "we're all over them" and "we've had chance after chance" repeated game after game since Xmas, and then losing silly points. Is our over-confidence (and maybe fan pressure) actually starting to affect the team ability to hit the back of the net ?

Correct, 5 points for observation. What I had also written was "losing silly points" ie. teams taking advantage of our inability to convert all the chances and coming back at us before the 90 is up. I accept a 1-0 is as good as 5-1 in the long run, but the lack of goals to attempts ratio is a little worrying.
