You are widely ridiculed as the biggest moron on this forum and believe me that’s not an easy competition to win.

They are jacking next year in the premier league - that’s complete bollox and you know it
Even if we make play offs people are saying they’ll Jack it in and do what?
Only reason people should Jack it in is if they can’t afford it and then mmj’s fund may help many
Wonder how many people pay £40/ month for their phones.
I get the frustration and annoyance I don’t get not going because people don’t want to move that’s bananas

I think they should have given the option for parents sat next to a child to retain their current seats next season as a transitional season at family zone prices, I get what they've done but think there should be better recognition of circumstances.

I was a bit grumpy about having to move but with the increase I would be mad to stay in the same seats when I can sit behind the goal for less than I paid this year. It’s a shame they haven’t opened more blocks as others have said i don’t want to sit in the corner would like to be a bit more central.

Just for balance I think the club got it right price wise but then massively overthought the jsb situation.

Not selling behind the goal and forcing people to move from there is also poor. Particularly when there aren’t many options given most seats are reserved for season ticket holders.

The price rise for my ticket is fair enough and I can’t complain. However the less said about his interview the better.

You say this, however it's £300 or £350 a season for a parent to take their kid to go to football for a season.

Potentially a tenner a game for an adult and a kid. It's less than 2 pints of the shocking beer in the concourse.

You are correct, what hasn’t been taken on board is in our now materialised society youngsters have more expensive phones in their pockets than the cost of a season ticket these prices are okay and I suspect there will be ways of paying and other match day packages to be announced.

Forcing the families out of the good areas will enhance the matchday experience for the rest of us at least.

The pricing is generally decent .. they could just as easily made the JSB cost a flat rate throughout though .. I'd have paid 100 for a jsb no issue

The recently improved atmosphere in a stadium that many (most?) of our fans had written off as a soulless bowl isn’t a coincidence. You know full well that the way a club is run and the way it treats its fans has a big impact on the matchday experience. Personally I thought that would have been worth sticking up for.

So if there's shit loads who feel like they have to move, just generate the atmosphere in the opposite stand.

It doesn't work like that does it

It'll be kids mostly so the older people who start the songs won't be there. They'll be mixed in with people who don't want to sing and it's not next to the away fans.

Club have tried to make the north stand noisy before

Ah right to continue with your nonsense argument , let's all pay through the nose upto and right next to the 4 blocks in question .. the WHOLE stadium gets shafted

For some fans it's a difference of 6 seats and a stairway , between 50 and 200 quid

You COULD make the adult ticket still cheaper in the family zone , to save an argument Nick.. that's the incentive

That’s a bit like saying it doesn’t hurt the atmosphere if there’s a massive gap between singer’s corner and the away fans so long as both sets of fans just sing louder.

If you make it harder to let fans sit where they want, the atmosphere is harder to generate. End of story.

I hope I'm wrong but I suspect MMj's fund may not be as popular this season.

When everybody is having to pay more for their own ticket along with an increased cost of living anyway I feel like donating towards other tickets is a stretch.

I'll probably chuck a fiver/tenner in as it's a good cause but it'll be with a huge slice of bitterness knowing that I'm helping someone get their ticket while I can't afford to renew my own.

No, how much they spend on something vital has fuck all to do with how much more they think they can afford to pay to watch football.

Nothing at all and is as I said the same shite tories trot out when questioned on why people can't afford important stuff

To be fair, I look at all of the outgoings I have and prioritize and go from there.

I think the big issue is just doing this with no warnings

The OAP pricing is just wrong. Its not acceptable for supporters who are paying that now to have it removed from them. It should have been retained for those paying it and only do the new band ruling to new holders entering the age group - the dissatisfaction vs extra revenue just is not worth it

The centre block pricing I kind of expected and that is probably fair enough

Again making the JSB changes in one swoop is not really great customer relations. Do it over 3 years perhaps but straight away in one instance just is poorly thought through

Premier thing to me is just a way of testing how many will be buying in the centre blocks as I cannot see why they would not pay the extra £20 as adults only fans. Why anyone else would pay it is beyond me.

All in all not great. Concerning interview by King in some respects - seems to have purchased the club with little strategic forethought. Is he really surprised the ground deal was a difficult negotiation? I Would guess the deal we have is poor in terms of revenue and high in terms of cost. It seems to have shocked him - which is concerning.

I do think it'll go that way, providing they can get the numbers in plus there will be less empty seats. My first impression would be the atmosphere would get better not worse in singers corner.
