Everywhere in life businesss are just assuming that everyone is benefitting from all these pay increases that are highlighted in the media…..that’s just not true for many.
It’s fair to say that we are all poorer in 2023 for a number of reasons . To curb ongoing increases in prices though, pay rises have to be sensible and people have to say no, enough is enough.

Sorry if ive missed this elsewhere in the thread but has anyone confirmed with the ticket office whether it will be possible to renew an adult ST as a premier league package whilst also renewing a child ST ? Id like to stay in Block 18 and continue to take my son but at present my assumption is we will have to wait for ',normal' ST to go on sale after the PL package window closes on Monday?
It doesn't appear so at the moment. all that are on sale is the premier league packages.

To do they above you'd have to buy the premier package and then wait until 3pm on the 8th to buy the normal kids one

Helpful. Are you going to explain so I can understand what your individual issue is if it's not about being forced to move.

FFS, as I have many times I am ok as I just have to pay £65 more. My issues are how it will hurt a lot of other people in either money spent or match experience.

So yes you keep missing the point

i hadn't realised 25% of season ticket were only £25

Nor me. However, despite being a cliche, chances are the majority of them could become STHs when they become adults. Fine balance and all that.

Or pretty fucking shitty to people who can't really afford to pay more

It doesn't matter that it's cheaper in the kids stand lots of older kids and their parents don't want to have to move and frankly shouldn't have to. I know people who are jacking next year now because of this and others have mentioned this as well.
They are jacking next year in the premier league - that’s complete bollox and you know it
Even if we make play offs people are saying they’ll Jack it in and do what?
Only reason people should Jack it in is if they can’t afford it and then mmj’s fund may help many
Wonder how many people pay £40/ month for their phones.
I get the frustration and annoyance I don’t get not going because people don’t want to move that’s bananas

Lots of fans from other clubs stating it's the same everywhere.

Who gives a fuck?

Did these clubs make people move? Or were the terms always that you sit in a certain section? If city had always made people sit in a certain section to get cheaper tickets you'd have a point.

That's the thing.

I've acknowledged that many times.

My argument is the same as Doug's. There are options at all prices but you may be forced to move.

We'd all prefer it to be the same cost and same zones but by doing that, we wouldn't be able to offer cheapest season tickets in the league to people who want them.

I understand it's unfair for some.

Well they've probably always had it in place, I guess

Yes, they are as they can't at this point in time justify the costs and their older kids don't want to sit in the family stand.

Who gives a fuck how much they pay for their phones? Phones are a lot more fucking vital than a fucking season it a d fucking championship football club.

Retract this vile post.

We're not playing Accrington Stanley, Fleetwood Town, Crawley, Stevenage etc, we're a championship club and fans have to pay the going rate, £8 a kid in standard zone or £2.50 in the family zone is still good. We have to increase our income it's a new era and we'll have to grin and bear it
But I was happily there to support us against Accrington Stanley, Fleetwood, Crawley and Stevenage. I was there to support Coventry City not the opposition.

It's now unaffordable for me to continue, some factors being price rises in tickets and some in the wider economy.

It feels like the loyalty I showed the club during those times hasn't been given back at all. If we were relegated again and they started begging for fans again they'd have a pretty short response from me.

They did used to back when the Ricoh first opened.

It's just that we've been ran like like a league 2 club with league 2 prices for the past 10 years.

And the stadium moves thrown in.

Even St Andrews was a dedicated section...

And? They then allowed it all over the ground which is the point I was making,.

It's always been the same.

It's the same at every ground and for every sporting event.

We've been lucky to sit anyway because our crowds are so poor.

We are now in line with all other clubs besides the odd bargain like Huddersfield.

Doug doesn’t pay £40 a month for a phone he just uses yours by the look of it

He's clearly said it will be more than 4 blocks if needed? Why are people thinking it's limited for 3 in the corner??

So the first people buying get stuck in a corner, may as well wait until they are selling them behind the goal - what a brilliant strategy by the club!!

Brilliant way to attract the future fans of the club🙄

You say this, however it's £300 or £350 a season for a parent to take their kid to go to football for a season.

Potentially a tenner a game for an adult and a kid. It's less than 2 pints of the shocking beer in the concourse.

Give up mate, you are a very small but loud echo in this chamber. Nobody has to move if they want to renew their present ST they can can’t they ?

For new fans I agree the pricing is good if you sit in the family zone .. but outside of that the pricing is wank

I struggle to understand what you are saying half the time so might be wrong. But yes I do have to move regardless.

this will all be ok - if there’s a commitment to reinvest the money. We’ve been told before to turn up to back the manager…. We did it last season and promptly sold Hyam
Yeah that’s what he’s battling. He’s not sisu though so like boosh says we don’t and he sells stars we were warned
we do back it and he does the same as sisu well at least we know

The Club are taking a gamble with all the free ST stuff. They aren't stupid, they know odds are on their side.

Look what happened to Huddersfield this season after narrowly missing out on promotion last season.
