Coventry City will soon be opening the window for 2026/27 Season Ticket Holders in Standard, Premium or Family Zone areas to request a move to a different available seat.

The window will open from Monday 20th July at 10am until Friday 24th July, 3pm.
How to request a move:

The Club will allocate your highest-ranked choice that is still available. You will get an email confirmation of your new allocated seat.

So does this mean the displaced 350 have had their chance to move?

Did anyone move in that window?

Accident waiting to happen.

Say you want to move 2 or 3 people as a group how can you ensure they won't be split up. 😬

Another financial opportunity, Although I saw Ryanair's been prevented from doing such in the EU, so probably most of their routes.

Ridiculous way of doing it 😂
What would your preferred method be? If they do it by phone it will just be one or two people so people will kick off about it taking hours to get through and / or constantly being engaged. If they said in person only people would moan they have to go to the ticket office.

The ticketmaster system, or any other online ticketing system I can think of tbh, doesn't have the facility for people to reallocate seats. The ticket office staff will be processing these manually, cancelling one ticket and issuing a new one.

Its going to be a slow process but not sure there's much else they could do.

Why isn't it the same as last season where you just go on the ticketing site and pick different seats if you want them. Not sure why it has to be so complex that it needs human intervention.

Surely pick your seat and add it to your basket and checkout?

Can’t move your seat after this date, what happens if a friend or family member buys a season ticket (assuming season tickets for new members go on sale) you can’t move after that date to sit with them.

I have a feeling that after all this moving stuff has been sorted, allowing for the natural drop out figures annually, there will only be around a few hundred season ticket opportunities for new buyers. I imagine they will be in demand.
After that however match day tickets will be down to less than 1500 per game.
Some more professional dot counter ITK will likely be able to get that figure more accurate 🤷‍♂️

I doubt there will be any new season tickets this season.

They will make more selling individual games.

There was talk of a waiting list for future years season tickets. No idea when this will open, how much to join etc.

Last season it cost £10 to join a numbered waiting list

Any idea how you know what seats are available? I logged in and have already renewed, but all I get is a page telling me season tickets are unavailable. How can you have 3 choices if you don't know where they are? Also I might fancy one of the seats that someone else is giving up. They certainly don't make it easy.

I presume they will update the seating plan in real time as any movements happen, so its a case of gambling on waiting for others to move or not. Not really any other way to do it, but not having an online method for switching and having to do it by email is bonkers.

Thanks but where can I see it please? Nothing available on tickets so how do we view the seating plan? Apologies if it's obvious and I'm being even more thick than usual :(

The club sent out a link via email to a live map that was meant to be available from 10am. No sign yet.

Click 26/27 season tickets top right hand corner

Just found it thanks. The original link is still broken!

For anyone still struggling, this is the route I used 1784540160232.webp
