why the chairman didn't stop Tim as he went way outside the "rules of engagement" and then suggest he took this up separately with Steve, but no, he joined in on the attack. Incredible.

That is a fair point.

It's annoying as well as the last set of minutes actually represented Fisher quite well, it seemed progress was being made. The second half of *these* represent O-K too, but that's lost in the noise.

I find it hard to believe that it hasn't already reached its conclusion given that four judges who have considered all the arguments are in unison with saying no case to answer. Perhaps their legal team are 'No Win No Fee'

I refer back to Ched Evans...

I wouldn't be averse to us moving on to JR2 btw, but think the calls for legal action to stop before talks resume are slightly worrying (what do people want to hide?) and also conveniently timed.

If SISUI are right... we need things out in the wash.

If they're wrong... we need things out in the wash, and if they're wrong it's not like they'll be looking out for us anyway, is it?

It's being used as an excuse for others to distress a failing business in CCFC.

Do you think all legal action has merit then?

You'd support endless legal action so that we "can get the truth"? And then what?

To what end?

We know why Sisu would want to distress ACL, why would anyone want to distress CCFC? Who gains?

Christ reading that is unreal. TF really trying to put SBR in a position. Another "don't look at us look at them" moment. The whole thing is tosh. The SCG was set up to improve match-day experience - probably discussed in less than half of those minutes.

Fair play Steve, I know you have the best interests of CCFC at heart.

I did laugh at Fishers opening line, having a go at them for not filing their accounts. Pot and kettle. Surely the Trust can't have a new chairman - won't they be under a transfer embargo?

Once commenced (and a judge has accepted there is a case to answer) then it should go through the due process without artificially being stopped, yes.It won't be endless, don't be daft. It has a natural conclusion to process.

What we need is *more* transparency, not shady deals to draw up a cloak. We need a light shone on *more* than the legal action will do so... not a blind acceptance of good and bad, and taking set positions that wilol endlessly go round and round, with rumour and innuendo the weapons for years that mean none of the parties involved can truly move on.

After this is all done, we need the capability to put it behind us, and that won't happen if things are left unsaid.

Ched Evans legal team produced new evidence. If SISU's do then fair enough but that isn't the situation we're in is it.

I too don't see why talks on the Ricoh have to stop because of the legal noise but lets not go down this there must be something to hide like dare I say there's a smoking gun route again. We've been there before. Could just be that those involved understand how futile the process is and simply would rather be concentrating on something productive. Might also explain the stance on talks over the Ricoh deal. A stop pissing around wasting all of our time with pointless games and come and sit with the grown ups instead stance.

So instead of blindly following one dogmatic rhetoric, how about efforts are made to concentrate all parties to talk without prejudice?

Good man

This has taken the thread rather off topic however

So, still want to know what kind of moron privately mails the chair to find out who turned up, rather than just reading the publicly available minutes.

Or, of course, which kind of moron doesn't spot the gaping hole in their cover story...

I don't always agree with the trust but I found it pretty uncomfortable and disturbing reading to see the way Fisher talks and treats the group who are supposed to represent the fans, and in particular his attitude to the individual representing the trust at the meeting.

Moff what was wrong with Italia's statement was it not correct and as for that Wasps point if they get things right and we don't why not say it .That person may have different views but at least puts his money down(CCFC season ticket) so why can't he say it as he sees it . T M not liking the atmosphere I think it's only just started that's from a moderate

The thing is, he's done this before with the trust at previous meetings hasn't he? So continuing this type of attack shows the last "meeting" must have been an anomaly, so I agree, any progress made has possibly been wiped from the score-sheet.

I'm guessing it's Randall Stephens. Seems odd bringing it up in the first place, surely it's a conversation that could have taken place in private and not on a platform for improving the match day experience. Especially given that Tim knew the answer. Seems to have been done for effect to me. If I was being cynical

No idea shmmeee, but I don't buy all the 'legal noise', 'drop the legals', etc, etc. With respect to wasps I think its a simple as wanting to distress the club and put them in an even worse negotiating position so the club have no choice but to accept a substantially worse take it or leave it offer.

I agree with NW, the trust and fans should be pushing the "everyone get around the table and discuss without prejudice or preconditions" line

Also odd one from Mr strange.
When TF was asked when will the legal action stop. We can't get anywhere whilst it's going on.
As a Coventry why would Mr strange defend Joy Seppalla's right to carry on with the legal action.

It was just defeated legal action it was pummelled then three appeal judges agreed with the high court judge.

4 very senior judges said the legal action had no merit.

If the legal action is holding the club back why would anyone as a Cov fan want it to confinue.

Very bizzare

Yeah I always thought a chair was there to facilitate.

Not convinced sharing these minutes really helps you know. Nothing Fisher said that couldn't have been written into an article by any half decent copywriter... and that's without the antagonism to go with it then!

I think the dig is they'd fail the fit and proper persons test - no money, failing to file accounts for 3 years and forgetting to put private and confidential on letters they want secret. Let's be honest that's 3 nil down with 3 own goals before the game has even kicked off

I'm a season ticket holder at both so I see the difference in how I'm treated.
I only slag Sisu off on here.

A very intelligent bloke said this 2 years ago. It's still very much the case now. He has been proven right

“I do not accept that I was not entitled to make the factual findings I did make... and I do not consider there is a realistic possibility that the claimants would persuade the Court of Appeal that I was not entitled to make any of the material findings I did make.”

He also said he rejected the appeal as it was in “everyone’s interests” not to prolong matters.

not sure they can take the moral high ground to be honest. The minutes of our chairman arguing about terminology of what was included in a letter with someone who wants the owners to leave doesn't put them in a good light at all

Again a complete waste of time. However I agree if it's going to happen anyway then ditch JR1 like all the judges are telling us to do.
Then get on with JR2 so when that gets kicked into the dust.
We can actually try and move forward in a sensible way.

Hasn't that been tried before? Who is everyone? Joy - according to Tim - holds all the cards regarding the legal issues. She won't drop them and snubbed the Trust's ( somewhat amateurish attempt ) to get some form of discussion about future ownership. So, if she is immovable, what can we hope to acheive? Wasps and CCFC are in no hurry to start talks.
