Who cares. As long as they said "no", eh?

Why on earth would you take a three-year deal from someone who has a 43-year lease. So that 10,000 people can sit in the Ricoh whilst the rest of the city gets screwed?

Still, as long as you've got somewhere to go on a Saturday, eh?

Thanks KH, btw, for going to the trouble of writing this up.

It's always good to hear first hand what's been discussed, regardless of opinion regarding the plausibility of the plan etc.

so if we build a ground that holds 12000 would it have a hill for the other 18000 in case we got crewe or someone in an area final.

I think "the rest of the city" should start showing an interest in their "community asset" then, don't you?

Yep.

Still, as long as you've got somewhere to go on a Saturday, eh?

Obviously don't know who these two councils are, but I do know as of last week none of the local MPs Labour or Tory know of any meetings, talks or negotiations reference a major project such as a football stadium build in their constituencies.
