SBT Footie Match (2 Viewers)

:wave: Hello all,

As this is a CCFC forum, I'm gonna assume most of us live in the Coventry area.

Therefore I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone was up for the idea of a forum-footie match.

At the moment I just wondered if anyone was interested and any suggestions for places/times would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah that sounds good too. Think we should do both tho, just a one off event with a number of the forum users, split into 2 teams and the pub after!

I'm good at footie manager, I'm fatter than Thorn and I can shout loud, so if you enter the team into the Sunday League I'll be manager as my playing days are behind me

Well I suppose I would as I suggested it. But as I'm new to living in Coventry (moved 3 weeks ago) I'm not sure of the best areas we could use, any suggestions would be really useful!

Just for the record, atm I'm thinking of the 1-off between us on here, rather than the 5-a-side league. Would be nice to meet and see what people are like before we registered in a league properly.

The Leicester lot will probably cheat and pay a few ex-pros with no affinity to the club (by cheque that will bounce) turn up and not pay their share like normal, but expect the same facilities

Here, here. However, I play football every week, we play on the all weather pitch at the Alan Higgs nothing but academy standards for me lol. Think its about £45 for an hour. So £45 divided between 20 or so =... not very much!!

The reason this disappeared was because we only got 4 people interested. I've just had another one PM me so we've now got myself, Marty, smileycov, Rich and MatthewWallis all 'formally' declared an interest. So even if we don't have enough for a big match... 5-a-side is definately on the cards.

As said previously, if any1 else is interested in the idea - post on here or PM me (or both )
