Said before, he’s pushing Big Dele Adebola for being my favourite player post 2001. Such a likeable characterHe is such a special player, he has everything any fan would want from a player. Love watching him great touch, balance and works as hard than anyone else on the pitch. The coaches must absolutely love working with the likes of him and BTA. Just really honest likeable people that give all for the group.
At 1 million he’s one of our best signings for a long long time
And Sakamoto didn't even have to do the 'be shit and go out on loan' routine first.Said before, he’s pushing Big Dele Adebola for being my favourite player post 2001. Such a likeable character
The redemption arc always adds to the story. And Sakamoto didn't even have to do the 'be shit and go out on loan' routine first.
He deserves a crack at the Prem with us. More than good enough to be an impact sub even at that level imo, he's so tricky.Probably one of my favourite players since i've started supporting.
Had all the earmarks of a cult hero when he first joined Japanese, Winger, Cool name, Random league and that fancy cut back.
Instead he's on his way to becoming a legend. I could see him here for a few years until hes 32/33 and then heading back off to Japan before retiring.

Already had one hasn't he?Give the lad a contract extension!
A year I think so to the season after this one. We don't want anyone sniffing around though.Already had one hasn't he?
We're lucky to have him at his peak. We can't actually say that about too many of our players. If he was early twenties, we’d struggle to keep hold of him.
I'd love to see him roast a few Prem defenders.
I'm not so sure that's the case anymore. If he was early twenties, we’d struggle to keep hold of him.
He certainly deserves a crack at it but you could be a tad premature on 2 counts. 1) We've got to get there3 first and 2) I doubt we'll get the funding to replace all of our better players if we do. I like your thinking thoughHe deserves a crack at the Prem with us. More than good enough to be an impact sub even at that level imo, he's so tricky.

Apparently we were looking at another player and he really stood out.Yes, it sounds like Saka was signed on the base of 'old fashioned' scouting rather than moneyball stats and a highlights video which people value so highly these days.

Loved when he first arrived, looked like a year 12 with that backpack.
Always smiling, and cuddles players when they score.
For the older ones, reminds me of Willie Humphries.
For a smaller player he can really jump and wins his fair share of headers too.Such a great player to watch, the way he just skips past players.
Love it when he's 1v1 with a full back and they have no idea whether he really is going to cross it this time or if it's another feint.
It's incredible. Gimoc said it was 50% that he'd never walk again. But there was only a 20% chance of thatTo come back from his shattered, fractured spine and put these kind of performances in is nothing short of miraculous
