he scored 20+ with a relegated club so that makes him no good? wow!!!!

guess you hate Romain Vincelot too?

Ha! He said it firmly tongue in cheek mate! On another thread the other day someone put up a list of players we'd brought in and why we'd be crap again this season. The reason for Vincelot was "he was relegated last season"!

in that case I apologise, the guy who said that about Vincelot is clueless obviously. I genuinely thought you had lost the plot, as Mcleod would be a good signing

Agree. McLeod would be a very good signing.

Just referring to the thread of the other day.

Crawley have turned down a bid of £100k for McLeod from Notts County.

Probably safe to say, that means he's unlikely to be coming here...

Yes he won't be coming here. Obviously Crawley are looking for at least double that amount and he won't be cheap wages either. He won't be coming to Coventry. Crowley has denied it again and again also.

The club have repeatedly said we aren't interested in Mcleod.

I don't think he will sign, but I would be shocked if Crowley knew anything he is being told what to say by people within the organisation and I would hope that TM keeps any deals quiet and probably only tells his bosses what he wants them to know.

If only big Nick had signed.
Missed a one on one v the keeper from about 12 yards then a couple of minutes later tucked a cross In off his knee from about 4 yards for Paderborn.

What is he worth then? 200k? His goals could be priceless. Crawley were appalling last year and he still scored regularly. For a team that will create more chances, surely £250k is nothing.

McLeods proposed transfer to Notts County has fallen through so he is available again. Crawley seem to be sticking to their £250k asking price though which i think probably puts him beyond us.

Yet if any move happens (anywhere, not to us), I bet the transfer figure will be 'undisclosed'

I hope you're not basing your evidence on us being a 'team that will create more chances' on our pre-season?

With over 3 weeks still to go in the transfer window, they can hold their position. If he's still there with a couple of days to go, the value will plummet. Just a matter of seeing who will blink first.......

Won't be signing McLeod either. Too expensive. Would be a decent signing though.
