To be fair I think Wilson is quite good with his feet. Used to play midfield apparently

Most of his passes wide end up as throw ins and he is painfully slow with the ball.

It’s not necessary zip or pace it’s effort and movement to pull the opponents out of position that we lack. MR brought Ayari in to do that I think and it’s not worked.

Rationally, I’d give robins and the recruitment team one more window

id replace most of the new signings, we’ve wasted millions and millions of pounds, I’d give him one more window to try and strengthen to aid what we currently have

if we’re in a relegation battle I think he deserves to go to be honest after spending 25 million

No, that's not rational. How on earth do you replace most of the new signings? Just release them and then ask the chairman to put up more money (ignoring the fact you'd have to pay off their contracts)? Or magically recuperate costs by selling them to.... who exactly?

I think Ayari is seen as a Sheaf type player long term . He needs to seriously baulk up before he plays there

That's a poor throwaway comment which simply isn't true

Which is mental really. Lost a big character in gus, but have got rid of loan players and made our own signings on decent length contracts. What gives??!?!

The corners need to stop for his own sake though. He just can’t take them, not his fault.

He made a few poor kicks tonight but in general I think he’s quite good at gathering and moving play on. We’ve bigger issues than Wilson to sort.

Because of our weakness in midfield he is being highlighted for not being the.Gus replacement, he is a perfectly adequate number 6 for any championship side

He is a poor man’s Kelly and just drifts through games probably a lovely lad but not a championship level midfielder.

No its not his fault and probably deserves praise for stepping up and taking them , I do feel the effort to attack them is also a huge problem

What an odd comment. Of course it's his fault if he chooses to step up and take them. It's clear it's something he needs to practice more in training and deserves lots of flak for being dreadful at corners.

You get that for taking a penalty under pressure not taking a corner ( the most impressed I have been when he took a penalty in the play off final).

This has to be repeated a lot for some reason, but he's sold £35 million worth of players. So in terms of squad value he's down £15 mil.

Is the reality that last year we were a bottom half team with 2 Prem level stars on a mission?

Sobering.

Has he chose too or been asked to cause others won’t ? And I don’t see them all as dreadful but some of the effort made attacking them could be described as dreadful

I am fine.

Just to put it out there, Kitching cost more than Hamer and Gyo combined.

Not sure why people are so desperate to justify how shit our spending has been.

Gave you some great times Nick, similar age to me , and all you do is moan about subs wether he makes them or not

So yes .. really

And struggling is not really a term I'd use for a team closer to the playoffs points wise than relegation

It's just very average atm

Well as one example on Saturday we had two players in ample space on the edge of the area but he still tried whipping it into the 6 yard box.
