Obvious bullshit aside...Terry & Viveash combo could be interesting. Would certainly get the Sky Blues back in popular conversation...and open up pipelines with Chelsea and Villa that could help us get around certain budget constraints.

Wouldn’t robins want AV to follow him to his next club ?

Other than the racial abuse, the 9/11 jokes, the betrayal of his teammates, the full kit wanker shenanigans, the connection to the Villa, and the total lack of managerial experience, Terry would be a great appointment.

He would get on well with his fellow geeza and old mucker from his West Ham youth days though. Though not sure if DOD paid him back for all the post training pie and mash

We WERE expecting a relegation battle though weren't we.

If we stay up this year, next season is the season to truly judge as to whether Robins is good enough at this level.

I don't think this is strictly true .
I thought lower mid, based on momentum ,confidence, decline of certain percieved established clubs

Think Robins himself recently placed us in that area .

Since Fisher came in, we've appointed managers with a track record. Thorn kind of got the gig based on a good run as caretaker, but since then we've had Robins, Pressley, Mowbray, Slade, Robins again - all with previous managerial experience.

So if and when Robins does leave, if the current lot are still at the club, it'd be surprising if they went for a first-time manager unless the caretaker did well.

I think he would want too but depends is viveash wants a go himself. Surely the managers job here is more enticing than a number 2 at Bristol city. He would be my priority if robins was to leave.

It’s probably all nonsense but regarding John Terry it has to be said since he joined Villa they have gone to a different level not taking anything away from Dean Smith, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Terry fancied management.

Just reading through this thread and it's depressing to be honest.

The usual suspects who excel in negativity and live to criticise targeted players seem to have gone into hysterics following Rotherham's win on Tuesday; I can only imagine what they will be like if we lose tonight.

The inquisitions are perhaps best left to the end of the season; don't mean to be old fashioned but probably best to support the lads and manager over the next 6 games vs. constant criticism and trying to blame individuals?

Hilarious.

But you do realize that players read this right?

And constant targeted criticism and derision of individuals (from a minority of twats on here admittedly) is really not that useful at any time - never mind with 6 critical games ahead.

Calm down dear. Your reverting back to your usual m.o. and getting over excited again.
Pro footballers don’t give a fuck what’s said on social media, they all know that they can go from hero to zero and back again in the blink of an eye.
Most of them are only at their clubs for the money, and show no loyalty when bigger offers come along (and you can’t blame them, it’s a short career)
These forums are just a place where fans can vent their frustrations from time to time, and chat shit.
You really need to stop taking it so literally all the time!

If they read this forum and take what is said to heart then that’s their problem - I highly doubt they do.

Bit different if people criticise them directly on social media or boo them. This is a fans forum, the players will know themselves to only look when they’ve played well let’s be honest

While I imagine most the players won't even know about SBT, it would be naive to think that applies to every single one of them. Natural curiosity applies & I can well imagine Shipley for instance will have read some of the stuff on here, just the same as I recall seeing the likes of Stuart Linnell, the guy from the Higgs charity & various local journalists & politicians come on here at various times.

As someone who’s recently criticised Biamou and Robins recently id tend to agree.

We’re past the point of no return and regardless of what’s been said Biamou is in the squad and Robins is in charge until the end of the season.

Got to get behind the lads and hope whatever Robins does or says comes off.

I said in another thread - Robins legacy at this club could well rest on tonight’s game
