Any way, although I am saying all this.

From tonight, is not the time to dwell on negativity including myself.

A win tomorrow and we are well on our way.

Onwards and Upwards!

Either way, we are on the right path. I genuinely think we could be back in the Championship in a few seasons, last season that seemed a long way away. It's good to see that MR has been backed this season.

Robins and City go together like peas and Carrots. I'd be hard pushed to name anyone who I think would be doing a better job.

You'd like to think that MR will feel that he owes us after bailing on us before, as I said before there's something about him that works with the club. Anyone who follows the political threads will know that Grendel's predictions often turn out to be spectacularly wide of the mark.

Yep, Robins and CCFC are a good fit. In fact if Robins and CCFC were two gay Irish men they’d be called Michael Fitzpatrick and Patrick Fitzmichael. That’s what a good fit they are.

Having had a few beers and just read 12 pages of nonsensical posting I thought I would join in. Like many of the posts on here it seemed like a good idea at the time

The anology that is. I stand by my comment about Robins being a good fit for CCFC.

If we are not at least 3-0 up by half time today, it's unacceptable and Robins just has to go.

As it took only until the second game of the season for the negative comments to start about Robins and this after he achieved the first promotion for this club in 50 years, I wouldn’t think it will be long until the moaners and whingers are back. I am pretty sure the next time we have a poor performance and certainly the next time we lose a game they will be back pointing out how his substitutions are rubbish, how he is stubborn and how he is so tactically poor.

Can’t accuse him of that against Doncaster

I wouldn’t accuse him of it at all. I think there are lots of examples of how his substitutions etc have changed the game. Recent occasions being Bakayoko at Charlton and Jones at Southend. Some people won’t let facts get in the way of their negative opinion.

His subs didn't really make any difference yesterday.

The last few have been effective as they have been given time to do something when going on.

It isn't throwing somebody on for 5 minutes when chasing a game like they were previously. At Charlton Baka and Hiwula got a fair bit of time to go on and get into the game and change it.

Was much better and they have improved from there.

His in game management has been much better recently, it doesn't mean that in other games he didn't get things wrong

Haha. He’s playing in a nearly identical way to the way he was back then, he just put a lot of faith and a lot patience into his/the process and it’s paying off somewhat.

Read up to before Baka’s goal’s in the Charlton thread .. tells you all you need to know!

Very true. I work a lot of Saturdays and tend to rush home excited at yet another great win and log on to catch up with our performance on here. As you say, it's incredibly negative a lot of the time, it reads like a thread of a defeat often even if we are winning! That said, I'm sure most fans forums are exactly the same. Maybe blame The Internet for making people angrier in general, all that anonymity.

It was the less of the case that MR wasn’t making the odd mistake, all managers do, no manager is perfect - it was more that people, (when things weren’t going perfectly but not shockingly), were shouting for his head (over the top) and that “he isn’t a manager who can turn things around” (which has proven factually incorrect).

Fucking hell Titchmarsh, you call them azaleas? Rubbish again. He's tactically naive. He's fine with bedding plants, but the moment there's a frost, he's never got a Plan B. Bring back Percy Thrower, at least we had some decent veg then.

I completely agree they didn’t really work this game but he made changes and attempted to change the way the game went
