So your rationale for sticking with the wrong person, is that you don't know confidently who the right one is?It hasn't worked for Mansfield . It hasn't worked for Leeds or Birmingham. It works when your team is at or near the bottom, not near the top of the league. Who on earth out there could come in and do a better job? If there is someone , bring them in, but I can't think of anyone .

What have the other teams in the top 7 got in common you clueless child?I know i'll get lynched for saying this but he's not the man to take us forward.
He's proven time and time again this season that he's incapable of switching to a plan B.
He makes laughable substitutions far far too late in games to have any impact. Why?
He can't fix the simple things that cost us points and he seems to have zero learning agility.
He's set up defensively against shit teams, he constantly plays players out of position (even after when he's forced to play them in position they have a much better game).
He refuses to drop shit players like Burge and Haynes.
Even if we by the grace of god fluke it through the playoffs (if we make it) and get promoted, I still don't think he's the man to take us forwards. If countless people on a football forum can see things, how can't he when he's paid (with our ticket money) to focus on nothing but the football team?

I mentioned in another thread, just off the top of my head, subs that have come on and changed games or scored in recent matches. Biamou, Reid (Newport), Biamou( Yeovil) Ponticelli (Notts Co), Biamou (Crawley). Even tonight Biamou forced the keeper into a great save with the back post header. Ponticelli had two great chances to score. Robins fault he didn’t score?I know i'll get lynched for saying this but he's not the man to take us forward.

I said a few years ago - "Keep rolling those dice, double six is bound to come in eventually".Even if we don’t go up we should give him another year and at least give the man a chance to improve the squad again.
The revolving door policy hasn’t worked yet.

I think Nick would do a good job. The only downside is we would have all our subs used up inside 10 minutesWho out there could do better ?
Nah the disciplinary record for "snapping in half" so many of the opposition would mean we'd struggle to field a side!I think Nick would do a good job. The only downside is we would have all our subs used up inside 10 minutes

Lincoln are going straight up from non-league.<snip> I think it’s a little arrogant to assume we should go straight back up.

He had to replace virtually an entire team. 10-11 or 12 signings whatever it was, it would be some miracle if they came in and it all worked perfect. Some just wont\dont fit, maybe dont get on with the manager or staff then you have the injuries to key players, players not replaced expecting them to come on strong when they havnt.I like robins. But he’s talking about getting reinforcements in, he and chief scout got these players in now there not good enough. Someone has to take responsibility for that if we don’t go up.
Can't sleep MDS? Watching that game had the same effect on me totally agree with you he should be given a chance to mould this team and take us up via automatics if we fail this time! which unfortunately I can see happening as I think this result will have blown the confidence of the squad and Mansfield will take heart from it. Can you imagine what sort of team we will have by getting JJ and Andreu back plus a couple of good full backsHe had to replace virtually an entire team. 10-11 or 12 signings whatever it was, it would be some miracle if they came in and it all worked perfect. Next season is the one for me, if it all goes tits up and we dont perform then yeah, bye bye. Now, not a chance, let him build his squad in the summer, building on the team he had to sign last summer. We have been in or around the top 6 most of the season and still have a very good chance of the playoffs.
He may not be everyones cup of tea, maybe dosnt get the tactics right all the time but i think he is the right man for the job right now, and certainly would be a crazy decision to get rid of him now. If play offs were the minimum at the start of the season, has he failed yet?
However it ends, it hasnt been that bad a season all things considered, it was never going to be easy!
Onwards and upwards.
PUSB
Ok we all agree that his hands are tied when it comes to bringing in players, but he is certainly not getting the best out of what he's got
FWIW I think he's tactically naive and is not prepared to take risks when things are going against is
