SISU Fisher & Waggot take good note.... this is what happens when you are successful at something - give Robins whatever he wants and you will reach the promised land..

This must have been pointed out to them - a trillion times......
Maybe, finally, they will realise the club's real potential......and that they have to speculate.
You never know if Joy and her shadows attend a week tomorrow they may actually become fans?
That'd be good. :)

I think this time will be slightly different as singers corner is the generator for the atmosphere now. The regulars of signers corner will be there and i expect/hope they will act as conductors to the atmosphere being pretty much in the middle of everyone for this game.
Absolutely mate ill be right under the score board wait for the song "where were you when we were shit" I'll be starting that one along with many others
Oh and it's my birthday on the 5th too yipeeee

Hope we don't get Southend in the final at Wembley (if we get there), could see a mister Eastwood coming back to haunt us (would be just our luck!)

My take on this then is 28500 normal seats sold, 1500 Corporate, plus Crewe.................so the record is broken on ticket sales...............but does it only count if all of these purchasers enter the ground??!!

If the capacity is 32,609 what about the other 2,609? Crewe have been allocated 1,000 and from what I hear they're being asked to hand some of their allocation back! (poor show by them even for a club their size?!)

How many times in the last 20 years have Crewe played in a ground with nearly 30k supporters? We rock!!

(Although when they return the following week, normal service will be resumed...) :p

We were in the Championship/Division 1 for nearly 10 years remember. So a hell of a lot.

They need to maintain the segregation underneath the stand in the catering areas which I suspect is the likely reason.

Could you develop that point please?

Sure - I'm amazed that ANYONE is interested in the JPT...when we gt through I expected nobody to care, and yet we have sold the Ricoh out?? Is that how far we have fallen, that we get all puppy-dog excited about a tin pot cup for lower league clubs???

It was embarrasing enough being in the Champ and having to regularly play the likes of Burnley and Doncaster...now we've fallen even further. We are Coventry City, we are not some gimpy little club who need to win cups like this

Don't worry CJ you will be pleased to know your friends at ACL are doing everything to maximise profit out of the occassion. I am sure however, you will join me in congratulating the club for not putting profit first on this occasion.

Yes we are!!!! Deal with it, I've watched the clubs demise over the last 25 years... We are a league 1 club and are where we are because we deserve it. Yes we have a top stadium but teams like Crewe, Stevenage are on a level playing field with us at the present time .

This is where we are, and this is the cup we are in.

I don't really understand your point, surely it would be more embarrasing to not sell out?

The same Coventry City that haven't been in the top flight for 12 years? Some fans need to have a good cry into their pillows and get over it.

CJ are you really a City fan?
Tin pot or not anything that gives us any sort of hope or put a smile on our faces is worth being involved with.
Look at Southampton?

Stop being such a moaner and get involved, try and get a ticket and get yourself involved, it might be fun?

All this scoffing at the JPT is beginning to irk me; because we're starting to sound like Liverpool and Newcastle fans, making out we have the divine right to be at the top, seriously, this is what we sound like to opposition fans.

We qualify for the JPT because we're in L1, so we're not too 'big' for it!

I can understand why the older lot are more cynical of the JPT, they seen us win the FA Cup and in the prem for most of their lives, but, we're not in the Prem (for many, many factors) and we're in the 3rd tier of English football, it's not too big for us.

Run to 5th/6th round of the FA or JPT final slot (not even winning it!): has to be JPT.

Sturrock put perfectly when on about the FA Cup game v Brentford saying, "we have a chance of getting to Wembley for JPT, but I'd be very surprised if we made it to the final of the FA Cup!", my point here, we're too small fry for FA Cup and League cup so we may as well enjoy the JPT, anyway, what CCFC wouldn't enjoy a day out at Wembley, even if it's for a minor cup competition!?

Get off your bloody high-horse!

Leeds, both Sheffield clubs, Leicester, Saints, Norwich, and Forest are but some of similar or bigger stature than ourselves to have been in the third tier, chiefly through on pitch or financial mismanagement (in our case both). I can't stand the club being on a level with Shrewsbury, Yeovil and the like, but in all honesty it gives us a major chance to reverse the negativity which has pervades through for years.

I do not care one iota if it's in the name of paint, for the City to actually achieve something worth shouting about beats being ecstatic over holding Peterborough to a draw any day.

What do you care, you don't even live in the city.

I am a better fan than you.
