Also done his ACL, MR confirmed it in the press conference this morning. We really are having some terrible luck with these injuries! Really feel for him, that's probably the end of his CCFC career

Terrible news for the lad who has had no end of serious injuries in his short career.

Is that the same injury he had before that set his career back?

Some bodies are just not made for professional sport. Feel for him as it probably means he has to look for a different career.

We must have had more ACL injuries in the last 24 months than we did in the 130 years preceding it!

I know people have said its the same at other clubs but there has to be something causing so many of the same injury.

I don’t know whether it’s because it’s become more prominent with major players?

Remember when Beckham broke his metatarsal - nobody had ever heard of it. Now players break them every other week

Isn't he out on loan somewhere? Wherever we got him from? Eastleigh?

I think it was previously described as 'doing your cruciate' but now they're more specific about which one of the two it is. It isn't a new thing it's just terminology

Some say its the modern stud patterns. Although I think injuries are diagnosed more accurately these days. Years ago it would just be a knee injury.

That's the one not Eastleigh, so it is likely he did it with them surely?

I'm not replying to be pedantic - but instead because I recently discovered this and thought it interesting (so I will share).

ACL is not an acronym - it's an initialism. To be an acronym one has to pronounce it as a word (such as NATO or NIMBY). If you say the letters individually it's an initialism.

Thanks - yes, I will try to get out more.

Are you his agent, or a CCFC bean counter?

Depends whether Dulwich are full time. If they’re not what happens is loan players come back to train with their parent club a few times in the week

‘Horrendous’ Coventry City suffer second ACL in a week

Robins said he’s been asking the question as to why they are happening at this rate

Shame for him but I do hope these injuries stay with the fringe players.
