What an energetic and disciplined performance. Tactically spot on.

Wilson 8 (didn't have much to do but saved well when needed. Used his area well and his long kicks caused them trouble)
Dacosta 7 (some wayward moments but definitely seems to have improved positionally)
McCallum 9 (some exquisite touches first half, great in the air and defensively solid)
Ostigard 8 (some sliced clearances but defensively solid, particularly in the air)
McFadzean 8 (a couple of needless free-kicks given away but otherwise very good)
Hyam 9 (motm. Seems more physical since return from illness. Getting more distance on headers and the closest when snuffing out possible shots. His finish was sublime)
Kelly 9 (defensively superb once again but also showed a range of passing and some dribbling skills)
James 8 (worked really well alongside Kelly again. Some moments of real quality. Faded a little towards the end)
Hamer 7 (busy and provided that needed energy in O'Hare's absence)
Walker 5 (just wasn't able to contribute, partly due to lack of service)
Biamou 8 (great work rate first half and was a real nuisance. Some lovely touches, linking well with O'Hare; and got first assist)

O'Hare 7 (did a good defensive job and provided the assist for Godden)
Gyokeres 7 (2 strong runs down the left, the 2nd of which Godden should have scored)
Godden 7 (great finish. Should have had 2)

Wilson 6 - virtually nothing to do
Dacosta 6 - much better second half but still worries me
McCallum 8 - really determined defensively
Ostigard 8 - excellent, has really come on the last few matches
McFadzean 7 - strong display although did give away a few unnecessary folks
Hyam 9 motm - impeccable defending and great goal. Godden and Walker would have been happy with that strike
James 8 - another great performance
Kelly 7 - some wayward passing but an important presence
Hamer 7 - better but still lacking intensity of earlier in the season
Biamou 7 - caught offside a few times but good work rate and assist
Walker 5 - he's much better than this I am sure.

Subs
Gyokeres 7 - worked so hard. Great covering and two great bits of forward play
O'Hare 6 - lively but not massively involved
Godden 6 - scored and missed one

I thought biamou had a very good first half ... a bit anonymous second.

7 probably a fair rating as you can't rate him the same as James or Kelly, hyam or fadz who worked extremely hard all game

Wilson 8 - Maybe generous given he had little to do, but what he did, he did well
Dacosta 7 - Tried *very hard* to keep to position and, for the most part, managed it. Still a bit reactive, but certainly better.
McCallum 9 - same as last game. Solid, and offered an outlet.
Ostigard 8 - Solid
McFadzean 8 - Solid
Hyam 9 - Solid + goal
Kelly 7 - worked hard, protected the defence, wayward passing.
James 7- worked hard, protected the defence, wayward passing.
Hamer 7 - worked hard, protected the defence, tried to offer a link, wayward passing.
Walker 5 - again made some decent runs that weren't found but looked a bit leggy. Two games in such a short space of time a bit soon for him?
Biamou 8 - good outlet, offered an option, worked hard, + assist.

O'Hare 6 - hard to mark. Actually, defensively was where he was strongest, even won a couple of headers(!) Six might be harsh given the way we were playing but, with him not on the pitch for the majority of the game, that's where he's going
Gyokeres 6 - couple of nice bits, couple of poor bits.
Godden 7 - saved by the goal! Would have been 5 otherwise

Very accurate, although according to one poster Biamou’s assist doesn’t count

Biamou does what Biamou does, works hard without ever looking likely to score.
I'd give him a 7 today.
Walker was poor I'd give him a 5
2 Centre backs get a solid 8 each, with Hyam getting a 9 for that strike which gave us the goal.
Wilson and Dacosta get a 7, wilson did well to block that effort on the stroke of half time, and Dacosta is improving with every game.
McCallum gets 8 and hes finding his form again.
Hamer 7 Kelly and James 7.5
Everyone else 7.
(Was going to give Godden an 8, but docked him 1 for the sitter he missed)

Why do you even have to rate players? It always descends into slugging each other off. Just be glad we won and accept we have good days and bad days.

You are obsessed with Max and seem desperately to want him to fail for whatever reason - perhaps you need to seek some help to address this?

It's simply mind blowing to me that we have fans like you who live to criticise and deride our own players and manager.
