Fair enough. I'm not sure Wilson has been better this season, based on not thinking Marosi really did anything wrong up until the Welsh fuckers did him in. We did concede a lot but we were playing very open up until that very game. I don't remember him really being at fault for any.
On the other hand I think Wilson does bonkers things like both this week and last week, well pretty much every week but he's often been very very lucky in getting away with it.
All about opinions though so fair play. At least we both agree a new keeper is needed.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if that incident has caused some lasting damage, he already was pretty hesitant at challenging crosses and so on, then got worse at them when he came back. I do find it harsh that he was just suddenly dropped for Rotherham away.

Agree with this 100%.

Marosi only made a couple of errors all last season too. Wilson had overtaken Marosi's number of errors for Cov after about 8 games.

Why people are begging for either of bottom of the league Wycombe keepers is beyond me.

There's a gazillion gks out there we don't know about and one of those lucky bastards is gonna be compared to Lee burge next season
you get a like for that

Nobody's begging for them, just pointing out the sad reality that either of their keepers would be an improvement on ours and especially Wilson

We all knew Wilson was an accident waiting to happen. The only reason people are blinded are because that accident didn't happen in the first 6 games. Well its caught up with him now

Yes Wycombe are bottom (now on GD, but granted), but they haven't actually been tonked all that often despite being clearly understrength for the division. 40 points for them's a great effort.

Would I take many of their players no, but their keepers are both better than who we fielded today.

Wouldn't really matter if we could score more goals.
All keepers make mistakes it's not just a Cov thing.
We have been poor infront of goal that has cost us more points, IMO
Should have been 2 up today before they scored.
Need a decent striker.

Let’s not get carried away, he has so much potential, if we got rid of every player that made a mistake we wouldn’t have a team!

Must be some good third choice keepers in the prem for a potential loan for season ideally a player tied down to a contract to us but surely an option.

Would you rather Stockdale or Wilson?
Neither if I'm honest.
Don't see the the Stockdale thing myself he has had more then 14 loan spells that tells me one thing he ain't good enough.
If we are going to change need someone better.

Lot of 30+ keepers due to be released so there will be free-be goalkeepers available will costly wage wise though and could be mean having three on the books with first team experienced for a year. But a new number one is needed.....and a centre half.

I’m not saying he’s necessarily the man but just that he’s probably better than Ben Wilson who until this year was a lower league reserve keeper for basically his whole career.

For me if we can spot a keeper with massive potential which we can pick up for cheap and work into a 1st team keeper. Talk of Westwood is concerning but slightly obvious given his link with us but he’s likely to cost a lot in wages which probably could be spent elsewhere. The keeper we faced against Rotherham had one cracking game, made a howler in the next so not immune to mistakes. Don’t think Marosi is dead and buried as some seem to think, we seem to come to conclusions very quickly but I would keep with Marosi. With osti going that replacement is vital

I think Marosi’s injury was much worse than we thought and he definitely came back too early probably shouldn’t have played again this season. Gives Robins a bit of a delema the goalkeeper position is a priority and potentially expensive.

Wilson has made a few brilliant saves recently then has a howler, I guess it happens but it's frustrating. Do we think he will learn and get better?

Been linked with a Danny Cashman from Brighton too and we have Viktor Gorkeres who the last couple of games has looked okay we could be having a few trips down the old A59 this summer.
