And Preston were saved by that Haji miss.

Why do we only focus on the misses that help us?

Tbf the Boro miss is a once a season horror😂!

Exactly. Dasilva and Rudoni switch off, lazy running, complacency setting up for the free kick leaves Wright on their no. 9, goal. We didn't play badly.
Yes, and if I'm not mistaken the throw that led to the goal came from some similar complacency from Rushworth.
I'm normally quite philosophical about setbacks, but throwing these 2 points away is infuriating.

We’re still dominating the games we’re playing. Yes you can point to near misses and what if what that. Also seeing We’ve got Leicester or soton and now Norwich away looking dodgy.
We are flying. No need to panic at all. Let’s get the win Saturday, a solid 4 points and then look to Southampton.

Away at Boro we didn’t assume it was job done, we kept men forward and buried the game. Just bizarre why the intensity fell off so much.

You are mad, come back to this is 3 years when Charlie hughes is playing for England. If we get him in we’ll win the league. He’s brilliant

There's a world where a £15-20m lump of Hughes is an ideal signing for a club with serious hopes of finishing top 2 and being in the PL next season.

He’s class, I don’t get why people would be so against signing him. He’s much better than Bobby when it comes to defending, shows that you have 0 knowledge when it comes to football

How many points were you expecting from Ipswich and PNE away?
It's not a case of what you expect, it's about what you should get with how the game pans out.

There should be no argument from anyone that we didn't throw two points away there. It's ok to be extremely frustrated by that even if on paper an away point isn't terrible.

Others may disagree, but I thought that second half performance was exceptionally poor.

You’d like to hope so, that Swedish winger would be a good start but I want a CB, go get hughes or someone who’s 8 million plus. Our defence is letting us down atm
As much as id like Hughes, I dont want us to repeat in January, what we did all summer. We spent all summer wasting time trying to sign a player that quite clearly didn't want to come, from a club that quite clearly didn't want to sell. Wasted our efforts and resources on a fucking unicorn, only to miss anything else.
If by the end of the first week its still dragging on, count it as a learning curve and move the fuck on to somebody else.

Though, if we could get £12m+ and a loan back til the end of the season for Bobby from one of the PL teams apparently interested, would anyone take it?

Personally dont think BT or Kitch are good enough for the PL yet IF we were to go up anyway, £12m could possibly get Hughes over the line?

Mate hughes is a much better defender than Thomas, wins everything in the air and can actually pass the ball to someone in his shirt, Bobby is great when it comes to goals for us but he’s shakey, hughes will be playing for England at some point, can’t see Bobby though. Just pay what they want for him, or a prem club will and we’ll be massively regretting it

Its a difficult window because really the players you bring in have to have the potential to play at a higher level or why sign them ?

I imagine loans will be the main focus

He's miles better than Kitch and Thomas.

If we were to get promoted, Hughes would make the step up. The other two wouldn't imo.
