It depends whether people acknowledge it is the system that leaves us open or try to pin the blame on individual players.

It would be quite easy to shore up the defence tactically, but the trade off would be we create less chances.

I think because we have been so clinical in taking our chances, is the reason why Frank isn't too concerned yet about leaking some goals.

The fact that Torp isn't starting presumably means he hasn't recovered fully. That's a shame because he is definitely one of those players we miss.

We will also miss MVE both generally and also specifically for his long throws.

MVE was killed in a pyrotechnic incident at the training ground.

EMC shared a happy meal with Torp on the coach down yesterday and they are both still feeling the effects.

Perhaps it’s just that he’s a professional athlete, and that as a club we take the advice of professional health and fitness scientists to decide whether a player needs to not start a midweek game after suddenly playing lots of 90 mins in a row. Just a hunch.
