And Preston were saved by that Haji miss.
Why do we only focus on the misses that help us?
You’d like to hope so, that Swedish winger would be a good start but I want a CB, go get hughes or someone who’s 8 million plus
We were supposed to have been bidding £10m for Hughes before we’d sold Sheaf. There will be money there to spend. Is there?
Or does he have to gamble hoping for promotion?
You are mad, come back to this is 3 years when Charlie hughes is playing for England. If we get him in we’ll win the league. He’s brilliantId rather have Hughes from Preston.
we got grimes last January, I’d expect a couple of similar signings,How do you know? I think we will though having said that
I for one can see us blowing it from here.
Yes, and if I'm not mistaken the throw that led to the goal came from some similar complacency from Rushworth.Exactly. Dasilva and Rudoni switch off, lazy running, complacency setting up for the free kick leaves Wright on their no. 9, goal. We didn't play badly.

Away at Boro we didn’t assume it was job done, we kept men forward and buried the game. Just bizarre why the intensity fell off so much.Yes, and if I'm not mistaken the throw that led to the goal came from some similar complacency from Rushworth.
I'm normally quite philosophical about setbacks, but throwing these 2 points away is infuriating.

They have to keep to a schedule .Incredible CWR have to go to the ‘late show’ at bang on 10 rather than play Franks interview
3/4How many points were you expecting from Ipswich and PNE away?
Hard to think like that when bobby gifted them a goal , so it balances out in that match alone .. we were deserved winnersSaved by that Conway miss tbh.
It's a very good job he did ping it over the bar because they'd be a point clear now.
Why not have kept Wright on, alongside Simms ?Away at Boro we didn’t assume it was job done, we kept men forward and buried the game. Just bizarre why the intensity fell off so much.
He’s class, I don’t get why people would be so against signing him. He’s much better than Bobby when it comes to defending, shows that you have 0 knowledge when it comes to footballThere's a world where a £15-20m lump of Hughes is an ideal signing for a club with serious hopes of finishing top 2 and being in the PL next season.
Probably fitness. Why not have kept Wright on, alongside Simms ?
YesSeriously?
It's not a case of what you expect, it's about what you should get with how the game pans out.How many points were you expecting from Ipswich and PNE away?
As much as id like Hughes, I dont want us to repeat in January, what we did all summer. We spent all summer wasting time trying to sign a player that quite clearly didn't want to come, from a club that quite clearly didn't want to sell. Wasted our efforts and resources on a fucking unicorn, only to miss anything else. You’d like to hope so, that Swedish winger would be a good start but I want a CB, go get hughes or someone who’s 8 million plus. Our defence is letting us down atm
Yes true. As will other teams.Weve dropped 8 points in the last 14 games
Whatever order that happens we are in great form and we will drop points
Not convinced we'll do much business.
Other teams will also get injuries and struggle for fitness, plus AFCON coming up to take a few players away.Weve dropped 8 points in the last 14 games
Whatever order that happens we are in great form and we will drop points
Mate hughes is a much better defender than Thomas, wins everything in the air and can actually pass the ball to someone in his shirt, Bobby is great when it comes to goals for us but he’s shakey, hughes will be playing for England at some point, can’t see Bobby though. Just pay what they want for him, or a prem club will and we’ll be massively regretting itAs much as id like Hughes, I dont want us to repeat in January, what we did all summer. If by the end of the first week its still dragging on, count it as a learning curve and move the fuck on to somebody else.
Though, if we could get £12m+ and a loan back til the end of the season for Bobby from one of the PL teams apparently interested, would anyone take it?
Personally dont think BT or Kitch are good enough for the PL yet IF we were to go up anyway, £12m could possibly get Hughes over the line?

Disagree. This is the time to go all in and we are not getting a better chance. Not convinced we'll do much business.
Would be criminal not to given the unique position we find ourselves in but who knows?
Not good enough, if we go up with a small squad then he’s won on a roulette table. We need some bodies in January and I hope he sees senseI just think Doug wants a small squad tbh.

It would be stupid not toNot convinced we'll do much business.
