The ref blaming is embarassing. He wasn’t the best but they never are. He literally sent their captain off in the first half.

He didn’t really have much choice there tbh.

Starting to think this! This with Rudoni just not coming back the player that he was before.
Even before his injury he hasnt hit the heights of the hype this season at all. Not sure if its the shoulder? He's been nowhere near last seasons levels at any point so far this season.

Very poor. Time for Lampard and the coaches to earn there money.

We're definitely not at a point of panic yet but there's some worrying signs. We can't keep a clean sheet to save our lives at the moment and to a certain extent poor finishing from the opposition has let us off.

Very quickly gone from being 10 points ahead and being one win away from a 13 point lead to it being cut to 5 points. The signs are there, but trust in Lampard and let's get back on track on Saturday.

Lampard I think is more than earning his money

A good away point against a team in the PO places, and at a ground we dont do well at, but ultimately only got themselves to blame for not getting all 3.

Piss poor decision making at crucial times...
And defensively switched off, again at a crucial time.

Fair play to Heckingbottom. Proactive switch to go 2 up top and it paid off for them.

Its been a bad day at the office for weeks now though. We've been lucky with results until the last 2, but this isnt a blip of poor form, we've looked leggy for weeks.

Do you even like football? Nothing you say about it even resembles the truth.

If you look objectively their keeper was MOM, we had 19 shots, the assistant for once got offsides correct against us and we switched off the one time they really pushed us.

One of those days
Also being objective against 10 men we never really looked like scoring. It took a massive stroke of luck to get one.

Squad is too small. We’re changing every week because of various injuries and half the team are either knackered or not match fit cos they’re coming back from injury.

We switched off from their throw. Rudoni and jds both let their RB get 2 yards of them before taking him seriously.

Yes Wright was weak but those two fell for the long throw fake, it went short and they assumed he was gonna punt it on but he took it down the line

Thats where were threw it away

Btw Wright missing that header is absolutely criminal

We switched off for a moment, and a speculative stretched boot brought an equaliser.
Overall with a slightly disjointed team again and some odd tactics tbh, for the second time in a row we were dominant, and always looked like winners. But Wright missed two glorious opportunities. Got to be scoring those. We went for it, but there just seems something missing. 10 men for 2/3rds of the game, offering next to nothing and we failed get the 3 points against them. I am disappointed but this is more on the manager than the players tonight. I think Frank got this one wrong.
Positives: Torp seems OK. Rudoni gaining match fitness, same for Saka. It all points to Saturday, we must play our normal formation with Milan back hopefully or it could a confidence killer. However a point is a point and many would have accepted that before kick off even though I didn't.

frustrating, you can’t not be taking a chance like that, 2 points could be huge end of the season, but 12 point gap to 3rd. next 2 home games very winnable,

I said if we get to Jan in top 2 I'd fancy our chances a while back. I think that's almost impossible not to be now isn't it?

Heat of the moment, etc., etc., but I genuinely don't think EMC is all that. He's powerful and athletic, but if he can't beat a defender for pace, he seems lost as to what to do. I think he's a weak link.

He was so poor in that second half; just dithered in front of the full back and passed inside.

He is still adjusting to this level. But often looks like a League One player. Yes he has pace when he can chase a ball into space. But from a standing start with the ball at his feet he has none. No trick to beat the fullback. Too one footed has to come insde all the time whether it is the right option or not.

He doesn’t get some of the fouls he deserves, because his feet seem to get stuck under himself and his upper body gets ahead of him. He looks off balance and looks like he is going down before there is any contact.

Not convinced he is Championship quality let alone potential Premier League quality.

Yeah tend to agree. We just looked devoid of confidence - or maybe it was fatigue - but just ponderous and slow with the ball.

Time to admit, we’ll never ever win at Preston! Even if they had 8 men they’d still get a point
We should of won today though against ten men why fart about at the back , we should of gone for the second goal instead of playing the ball backwards to kitching and Thomas and co and when we got forward we were too slow
