Our own worst enemies there. That game was there for the taking. Key players below par. I love him him but Sakamoto in the second half? Barely seemed in the game. We didn’t move the ball forward quickly enough. When we did, we made good chances like those Torp had. I hope we sign a couple of players in January. We need some extra quality and fresh impetus. There is a lot of pressure on a small group of first choice players and they will have off days. All still in our hands though and home on Saturday. Cmon City 🩵

Fair play to Preston. Some great last ditch defending.

We made it easy by not moving the ball quickly enough. The standard of balls into the box was dismal, too.

Defo is a match fitness issue! Just need him back to 100% sooner rather than later. I can see it getting tougher before it gets easier so need everyone at it!

You simply have to see the game out.

Absolutely. Messing about at back leading to Rushworth hurrying a clearance to touch followed by poor marking by wright in the middle. Clear the first by one of the back four and the goal doesn’t happen.

Yeah their Goalie made a brilliant save from Wright, they got a soft equaliser, we just didn't quite get it together - but many would have taken a draw going in: win at home, draw away, we are set.

The Torp shot was a good save as well.

Their goalie kept them in it ,some poor defending cost us . Rudoni got a full game under his belt , Wright looked decent Torp back . Roll on Saturday and a must win game

Time to admit, we’ll never ever win at Preston! Even if they had 8 men they’d still get a point

Bit shit, but can’t really say they didn’t put in the graft, just a bad day at the office for too many players.

The curse remains.

Its been a bad day at the office for weeks now though. We've been lucky with results until the last 2, but this isnt a blip of poor form, we've looked leggy for weeks.

Right, getting over it.

Just cursed to never win a league game there.

Back at home on Saturday and a pitch that doesn't resemble Gosford Green

Very poor. Time for Lampard and the coaches to earn there money.

We're definitely not at a point of panic yet but there's some worrying signs. We can't keep a clean sheet to save our lives at the moment and to a certain extent poor finishing from the opposition has let us off.

Very quickly gone from being 10 points ahead and being one win away from a 13 point lead to it being cut to 5 points. The signs are there, but trust in Lampard and let's get back on track on Saturday.

I'm pretty annoyed I cannot lie but I sure hope the players and management aren't as reactive as some on here. We might as well hand over promotion to teams we've got 10 points+ on the way some are going on.

Don’t forget their keeper made a world save… just switched off completely for the Preston goal, wtf was Wright doing at the back anyway?

Please don't talk with any sense or logic.....

We're averaging a point a game (over the last game), thats relegation form whichever way you look at it.

That's worst result of the season in my opinion. Rudoni was rubbish, we miss BTA massively. Our best form has been without Rudoni hasn't it?
Rudoni is playing out of necessity, it's pretty obvious. If the squad allowed he wouldn't have needed to be thrown straight in after injury

Christ calm down, an away point at Preston is fine, not great but fine and we are still top of the league
December is a huge test for us, but get over this and still be top, it’s all down hill to promotion

We have won all 5 of our games in November, lost away against Ipswich and drew away to Preston just now. Are you okay?

Agree we missed MVE - nothing against KKH buy MVE has been epic. Otherwise I think their goalie has kept them in it with a couple of brilliant saves. Rushowrth didn't have anything to do all game really.

If you look objectively their keeper was MOM, we had 19 shots, the assistant for once got offsides correct against us and we switched off the one time they really pushed us.

One of those days

I am absolutely seething, that was the game to finally end the Deepdale hoodoo. But, we didn't play too badly and equaliser apart, the second half was quite enjoyable.
