BBC sport reporting that Man City are favourites to sign Elliott Anderson for a new British record fee. I like him but don't think he is a £100m+ player.

Barca £70m for Anthony Gordon, has the world gone f****n mad.

Horrible tosser, everything that`s wrong with modern footy.

Give it a week, he`ll have cornrows and he`ll speaking with a Spanish accent.

He`ll need factor 12000 for that pasty pale Clare Baldwin skin of his too.

Given the way our ST thread's going, might be worth lying low for a bit with your username mate

Anyone would think you'd got some vested interest and that he'd once played for your club or something. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can't see Barcelona signing Gordon & Rashford, BBC reporting Gordon deal agreed for £69.3m
Really surprised about Gordon.

With this kind of arm gesture, I would have thought he might have been better off going to Germany

Slot sacked!

According to oddschecker we are 2000/1 to win the league and 175/1 for a top 4 finish . You can all relax I’m not betting on us at all next season 👍

Anyway you look at it, Slot has been an abject failure this season. Spent a lot of money to go backwards, and didn't have the support of a number of his players, who clearly didn't think much of the way he wanted them to play.

The writing was on the wall for a while.

Whoever is in charge of transfers majorly fucked up too, they were in desperate need of improving defence yet spent a fortune on attackers and a RB who is worse defensively than TAA.

Think`s it been in the offing since he announced he wouldn`t be staying at Bournemouth tbh.
I hope not cause he's a good manager, Gerrard would surely be a better fit and give us all a laugh as they struggle even more 🤞😂

Long time coming!... last season was Klopps team. Slots additions have made things worse

It`s the same problem as United have had since Ferguson stepped down, how does the next manager follow on from Klopp.

The presence of the former manager is still all over the club, a lot of the players remain ultra loyal to their former manager and it doesn`t take much for them to decide they`re not having the new guy.

Iroala, will have the exact same problems, it`s just that he`s got a bit more kudos in the Premier League due to what he`s done with Bournemouth.

Not shocked slot has gone , personally felt hed upset and unsettled many in the dressing room

I know he won the league but it was a continuation of klopps team and football style mostly .

Blimey thats a big leap for a manager who has only achieved a 40% win ratio at 1 of his 4 clubs

That arsenal parade today looked huge 20260531_191910.webp

Despite the fact that Chelsea sacked Maresca they want Man City to pay them compensation if he becomes their new manager, Chelsea are claiming that rumours that Maresca would replace Pep in December led to their poor run and Maresca's sacking 🤔
