for Top 2 and Top 6 a ppg line may be better to see where we are tracking against them - albeit the PPG for top 2 would probably be hidden by our actual performance

No need cos you’ve got the total projection line on there.

But while we’re making requests @edgy can I ask for:

- PPG of relegation season in Championship
- PPG of best season in Championship
- PPG if we still had two points for a win
- PPG refactored to todays number of games of Jimmy Hills 67 promotion season

;)

as a bit of history over the last 20 years

90 points has always guaranteed Top 2
79 points has always guaranteed Top 6
Often lower by up to around 10 points

Dont like the beginnings pf a downward trend in the projection line.

This period last season we picked up some points - from a pure season comparision perspective we need to make sure we do the same. 3 or 4 defeats in the next 7 odd games and we'll be as you were.

Season comparison worms narrowing. Need to pick up some wins before Bournemouth and Baggies.

Much needed win to steady the downward trend. 30 points on the board. It took us 7 more games last season to obtain that milestone.

Looks like between games 18 and 30 we only picked up around 12 points last season, hopefully we can do better than that in this season's corresponding fixtures, with teams like Birmingham, Millwall and Luton at home, and Cardiff and Peterboro away. Plus there are some other winnable fixtures in that run.
The scale of the graph makes the situation look less impressive than it really is, in reality we have 50% more points than at the same number of games last season.

If I had a £1 for every Graph I’ve just seen……..

The points difference from this stage last season is 11 , took us 36 games last season to get 38 points

yes, and this batch of 6 games gives us a chance to push that gap further. We pretty much flat lined from game 24 through to 30 last season.

Projection line has levelled out nicely to arrest the slide. Top 6 line looks to be too high for this current season.

It's hard to say really at he moment.
Blackburn & QPR seem to have stalled a bit, both taking only 5 points in the last 5 games. Huddersfield continue to defy logic but have played those extra 2 games.
The prediction of 78 points is high compared to some previous years, so we shouldn't give up on a top 6 finish yet.
70 points (predicted for us) doesn't look to be anywhere near enough though ATM
