Preston are scared to touch O'hare, been numerous times they could've gone through him but stood off. Need to use that more second half

I'm sure I seen them kick the hell out of him at least three times there @Briles!

I didn't say they were shit, just boring.

It's exactly the sort of style that will keep you away from relegation but rarely threaten the top and exactly why they've been in this league since the T-Rex was knocking about.

I'm in full agreement. Template mid table Championship team in a template kit playing template football. Big, strong, organised and absolutely boring as fuck.

the guy from Villa looks pretty good to me and they are good at retaining possession and moving the ball quickly

I'm probably the only one who didn't think Waghorns been that bad.

Sheaf and JCS have probably been the pick of the players.

He hasn't really tbh. Been a bit battered about, but also, not playing particularly well today. Not as involved as usual, and when involved he hasn't used the ball well.

Preston are good in midfield they were at their place they seem to have an extra man a lot of the time our forwards are not giving our midfielders targets and our we lose possession going Hamer passing poor today be interesting how we address this.

Waghorn seems to have perfected the art of drifting into spaces where he can do least damage to the opposition.

Catch 22 with Waghorn for me. Clearly needs the time on the pitch to gett fitter and into some kind of form but at the same time, he's not offering anything in the here and now.

Pressing hard from the front he’s not been great but neither have him or Gyo,communication at times not there ran away from O’Hare pass at one point

It shows how important he is to our play. He's not been able to create anything so nothing has been created.

O'Hare as usual the only player looking likely to do anything mind, thought Maatsen should have done a lot better when he put him in at the byline

Atleast 4 times the balls been played to Waghorn while he has been running away from it not even looking, get the donkey off for literally anyone else on the bench

Preston are a real nothing team and we’re allowing them to come into the game. We started well and massively dropped off.

Need a lot more from the front two. Waghorn isn’t sharp yet and I’m a massive fan but Gyokeres isn’t on it today - tiredness I think.

Other than Hamer nobody has stood out, good or bad.

Allen, Dabo and Taveres on to at lest change the dynamic at some point second half.
