It's a shocking situation and SISU have got really lucky with Pressley and his management of the kids. However I see yesterday as a bit of a turning point, the loanees IMHO were not up to much yesterday and even when Wilson arrives back on the scene it could take a while for him to fire again, especially without his foil Clarke. I've looked down at the fixtures and don't really fancy any of the rest either. Would have gone to London Rod but they've trashed it by knocking down the terrace !

i think your proberly correct bradwsb, which means the club will die, because lots of current fans wont go, and where will the future fan base come from ?

To be honest.
If they were to build a new ground they would then have to add that to the price of the sale.
So what would it be worth then? Still can't see them getting there money back.

Skyblueweeman said:
They've said they can sustain loses for a few years...that's not making money. The plan was to get to the Prem and sell for a profit. That didn't happen. They'll sell when they might make a profit, ie with The Ricoh on board. There's no way that some franchise club playing in Northampton would make anywhere near enough money with this scenario to sell.

Forget "Lego Land ", never going to happen, don't think they will get the Ricoh, on the cheap and on their terms, so it's Sixfields, that is if they really want a football club, which i doubt, but if they do they some how will need as many fans as they can get that will be some cov some northampton or they decide they are never getting their money back
( how much money ) , then they liquidate.

Just been down the pub , chewing the fat with the lads , all city fans of 40 years plus following the sky blues , all won't go anymore and the consensous of opinion is we are well on the way to a Franchise club, when Northampton go out the football league it will happen. Fisher and Cardozer have been pals for a long time , the new Northampton manager was on Fishers list before. Pressley will be off in the summer ( who can blame him ), we will merge . It's time people got real, Sisu don't want Coventry city fc, they want the land/ground, they are playing us for their gain. Do city fans want this to carry on any longer, this season Sisu have been so lucky with a good manager ,and good kids, who Gregor Rioch brought through, he has gone, i for one have really have had enough, my mates and me decided today, we will never go again with sisu in charge, that is home ? or away this is about 12 of us plus our kids, no more, i'm expecting the usual suspects on here calling me a "drama queen ", wake up and smell the coffee people.

To be honest that's pretty fanciful as they're pressing ahead with the new stadium.

Please do check out the facts, an important meeting taking place in the very near future! PUSB!

About as accurate as a post assuming fishers mate Cardoza will join up with sisu to form a franchise club.

Cardoza is mates with Hoffman

Cardoza doesn't own the ground.

even if they do build stadium 4 years at sixfields will destroy the fanbase meaning league 2 at best most current fans will not stay the course.
I now also believe if the city wants a football team it needs to start a new one,i never thought i would come to this conclusion but thats what i now think

So is Hoffman. The main point is he doesn't own the freehold - the theory is fantasy as the freehold is not owned by him.

Do you mean the next meeting of the Sandra Garlic group tomorrow night at the Village hotel?
To pick a few people to form a committee, made up of a wide range of CIty fans?

Does not owning the sixfields freehold mean that the two club's can't be merged?

Ludicrous thought i know.

What does ownership of the Freehold got to do with it? It would not stop an amalgamation of the two clubs.

Facts! good one RFC, we are still waiting for those numbers you were going to come up with and don't forget about 9-10 weeks ago you said we would be seeing full plans of the new stadium in 6-8 weeks. So please RFC, the next time you mention facts, engage your brain first because you'll just end up looking like a plum again.

They said they can sustain loses based on the bullshit Fisher gave us about what they expect the attendances to be at Sixfields. They have been less than half what they expected considering how the team have been playing. So how do we know what they can sustain based on our actual attendances for the season at Sixfields.

Not been home or away this season, won't again either, and will never until they leave. That's 7 tickets per game that they miss out on.

All adds up in the end..

Please don't be rude and offensive, theses things sometimes take a little longer as not all the parties are as 'cooperative' as they might be, as we've already previously experienced!

What possible benefit is there of renting a 7,000 stadium versus renting a 32,000 stadium? Admit it you thought he owned the ground.
