Wow, joins the forum to support the carpetbagger, Nikki Sinclaire.

How about vulgar behaviour like using the problems at CCFC for political advantage and lying about credentials as a heartbroken Wimbledon supporter?

how would you know whether she was a Wimbledon supporter or not ? or it is just easier for you presume and make things up on the hoof?!
a quick search on her blog brings up two posts (from as far back as 2010) which state that she is a AFC trust member......

If Nikki is upset by the narrative on here then I suggest she's in he wrong job.

What I would take back to her is the strength of feeling and disillusionment of the fans to what appears to have been grasping a cheap PR opportunity, by her. You do know there was genuine hope and backing of her attempts last week? What we got is so disappointing.

So rather than getting out of your box, why don't you start by letting us know what progressive strategy we can hope to see from Nikki with regards to resolving this situation. We don't want empathy or platitudes from Joy.

Over to you angry resident, because I tell you what I doubt you're as shocked as me at the vulgar attempts of a hedge fund to destroy my team.

I doubt it would bother her, if there is any line of work where I'd expect it to be like water off a duck's back it's politics. You see the shit politicians fling at each other?

I would have no idea - so I suggest you call her constituency office and ask to speak to her or somebody else in the know!
has anybody here actually done that?.........
as far as I see it, whatever she is doing, it appears to be a fat lot more than what some of our other elected representatives are doing!!

A quick search on her blog reveals that she also claims to be a long term Liverpool supporter and was disappointed to see them lose to Wimbledon in the 1988 FA Cup Final.

What a search on her blog fails to show is any mention of the police raid on her offices investigating expenses fraud. Since she has failed to mention it, am I to assume enquiries are ongoing?

BTW, this is the latest nonsense on her blog under the headline:

The club never stopped paying rent

The rent had historically been paid by the club topping up an escrow account Rent Deposit Account so that there would always be a balance of £500,000 in it. At the start of the rent "dispute", according to our sources, ACL took the £500k out of this account as a lump sum - and the club continued to pay the interim rent for every match thereafter.

So basically you have no idea about the club, no idea what she's doing, no idea why people are so bent out of shape regarding SISU, but take it on yourself to get all upperty on behalf of a politican. You couldn't make it up.

Why don't you do yourself a favour and do some research first, and I don't mean read the Daily Mail, make an effort to understand why people may be so wound up.

Then come back use all that pent up umbridge to help us.

Know little about her myself, but politically wouldn't agree with her.

The quotes about her being a Liverpool supporter and an AFC Wimbledon fan were brought up when she was first taking an interest as proof that she was genuinely interested in football, and everybody was emailing her requesting that she looks into things.

Now that she has, and becuase her conclusions(rigt or wrong) don't fit the popular narrative the self-same quotes are used to attack her.

If there is any flip-flopping and change of stance to fit, it's from posters on here.

The mysogyny is the worst thing, worthy of Godfrey Bloom.

Mate the woman is a joke. When she met with the Trust yesterday she didn't even know that ACL had offered reduced rent, apparently her jaw dropped when she was told the amount offered to Sisu.

Portrays Joy Seppala as a timid lovely woman who is scared of the fans and apparently didn't even know shed bought the club until about 20 months ago when the shit started hitting the club. She told Sinclaire that one of her (15) employees did the deal without her knowledge!

Sounds suspiciously like the kind of testimony that judges comments talked about. "Selective memory" "not as niave as she makes out".

This is a joke, yes?

If not it's the most hilarious bit of bollocks I have ever heard by anyone from SISU assuming the MEP isn't making it up.

As I said though, right or wrong, her sex shouldn't come into the debate.

It was the same with Ann Lucas over the Marlon King affair, no end of crap thrown at her for that, "women know nothing about football", "just in it for the publicity" etc.

Some of our fans need to be dragged kicking and screamimg into the 19th Century, we might then be able to gradually get them up to speed with events since then.

Too much too soon and their heads might explode.

I don't disagree and see no reason to get involved in boys club humour. At times its like watching an episode of life on Mars reading some of the posts.

However, i think Ms Sinclaire has naively walked into the lair of a beast be it to help or raise her own profile, i don't know. However, Joy Seppala didn't get to run a hedge fund specialising in distressing targets by by playing nicely, so what did Nikki expect?

Where i come from she went on what we'd call a "fools errand". I'd like to be proven wrong, and she's brokered a break through in the sh1tty bollox we have at present. Unfortunately initial signs aren't good.

Sinclair needs to sing sisu out and Tim fisher is a wanker. Then she'd be the photo girl of Coventry.

I agree.

Her looney politics and her track record of turning up to jump on almost any cause going yet not actually achieving much other than her name everywhere is relevant however.

And (in all seriousness) I honestly thought (s)he was post-op.

Edit: for clarification, that's why I didn't think "she knows nothing cos she's a woman". The gender she is also has nothing to do with her opinion.

Well our MEP is not too popular. Strange as which well known posters have said this about SISU loving Niki?

“Does it matter if she's fishing for votes or a pre op trans gender?
The fact she is focusing on the skyblues, about to play away from Ricoh, will do for me!”

“Wow, that is great.. well done Niki”

“Fair play o Nikki for standing in our corner.
I blame not just SISU for this mess, but the FL could have sorted this if they had any balls at all.”

cant believe people question this womans intentions and try to belittle her! you do all realise that despite being a liverpool season ticket holder she has been an active board member of AFC Wimbledon for several years championing their cause. Some of you deserve what you get!

I have a lot of time for Nikki, believe me she is one of the most genuine people I know. She is an avid football fan and really does care about CCFC. She also has little time for the Football League and will endevour to get as much help as possible for our cause.

I thinks its very easy to belittle politicians as being egotistical and only seeking voting favour.... I'm typically guilty and cynical of the profession.. but on this occasion I genuinely think Nikki has the best interest of the club, the fans and the City of Coventry at heart....regrettably I think it a forlorn task..but I for one welcome her support.

So we've concluded that politicians do things for their own gain?

Just had a look into Nikki Sinclaire's background and politics, who the fook would elect her?

Not really selective or it seems successful in taking on causes. We are really buggered arent we?

Bet, Joy probably had a right good belly laugh after the meeting.
