Just been reading through this for the first time, and here's my tuppence-worth.
Definately (Oh, my God, I'm H) need to sign a dependable, experienced keeper; but some of the names being mentioned (Westwood/Stockdale) would, I think be asking for more than we could pay. On that point, I recently saw a programme about sports players in the US, and many of them file for bankruptcy within a few years of finishing playing, despite being on massive wages. Also, when earning thousands a week, remember that a large proportion of that goes to the taxman, so being a league 1/2 footballer isn't a "set for life" occupation.
Picking up on JJ coming back from injury, I seem to remember when Callum Wilson did his shoulder in for the second time, there were plenty of people saying it was made of glass and he'd never be the same player again - now it appears that his possible summer move would be a huge financial bonus for us.
I also think that we are an attractive proposition for loan signings from the Championship, due to the style of football we play, and that Mark Robins will get a couple of useful players in that way.
Finally, I suggested on another thread that I thought Tom Eaves was someone we should take a look at - he impressed me when he came up here with Gillingham, and, in my opinion, looks more suited to the lone striker role than Bakayoko.

No, I'm H - and it's definitely.
Think you are right re goalkeepers, unless we can perhaps agree to just pick up a percentage of wages for e.g. Stockdale (with Blues subsidising the rest)
Tom Eaves will be coveted by those with deeper pockets than us.
Love it if JJ comes back strong - but I've mentally written him off - with it being a huge bonus for him and us should he return as good as he once was.

Just got back from the League 2 play off semi. Norwood scored. Wasn't massively impressed, looks a bit fat to be honest. Niggly pain of a player but I'm not sure he would make the grade at higher levels.

Dodge of FGR was anonymous which was a supprise.

Best player was FGR left back. Mills. Very mobile with a decent cross
Think he was at Reading in the champ for a stint

Tudgay was our most prolific striker for a season, does that mean we shouldn’t have gotten rid of him? There’s much better out there.

That’s true for every player in the squad.

And you said get rid, why him ahead of all our other strikers?

Yeah let’s get rid of Hiwula first - it gets better

Anders Lindegaard released by Burnley. Add him to the list of out of contract goal keepers ledger.

Edit: bit worrying that he is 35 and only played 119 games. I can imagine the life of a perpetual reserve goalkeeper is bleak apart from the money

Buy league 2 players and that is where you will end up!
