New Vice Captain

Some turn around by Dasilva if he is VC, was pretty much unanimously agreed amongst the fans that he wasn’t good enough to start in the Prem.
I think it was pretty unanimously agreed he wasn't good enough to start in the championship including myself but what a turnaround he has done, credit to him and shows how much we all don't know about players

Defensively in the Championship he was suspect in many games. But offensively and his technique on the ball I had no doubts about him stepping up in that aspect, it was just defensively I was worried. But it seems he is actually more suited to the Premier League than the Championship, there's less teams lumping it down that channel, and can't get away with as much physicality.

We were getting exploited down that side in the Championship until Onyeka came in, Kitching was covering that side a lot too with Grimes dropping deeper centrally.

I'm pleasantly surprised:
A. How well he's defended in the Prem, he's one of our more intelligent footballers
B. How few teams have/can exploited/exploit his physical drawbacks.
Which is a real bonus, because technique wise, he's one of our best players, and so good at those smart little touches that can get you up the pitch in the Prem.

Interestingly Jay DaSilva was wearing the captains armband after Grimes went off against Newcastle.

As in my first post I didn't think he was Captain material but happy to stand corrected
Anyone who can do a perfect rendition of "Can't Get You Out of My Head" in the dressing room is captain material in my book.
