I presume that Lawton and Stokes have signed. Based on their social media conversations about the weather being hot and back to training today.
Good luck to them both, I hope both improve and take the chances given to them this season.
As for other players. If TM can get Reda to stay focused and remain for he could be a real difference for us.
Once he starts getting a few players in on trial and to fit into the 'puzzle' I'm sure we'll all have a great sense of excitement!

Wasn't it us fans that were bigging it up rather than anyone else?
Think it was just announced there was going to be a signing. It was us fans that went into overdrive, rather than the press or club making out it was anything major.

Think I'm one of few people who are actually very much reassured by the lack of signings so far. I'm happy that Mowbray is taking his time and is particular about what he wants, rather than just signing any old shit that getd floated around by agents
Interesting how many statements have more than one take on them.
I read that as TM saying he wasnt really challenging for a place last season - next season I expect him to be fitter & creating real competition for a place.

Totally agree with this Hucks. We have had so many examples of rash signings of players who must have looked good on video but then didn't actually fit in with the team ethos or the style of play that respective manager had.
I'd much rather TM waited for the right people at the right price than have another Mathieu Manset!
I agree. My only slight concerned (and it is probably unfounded) is that he may have missed out on his 1st choice targets and/or is finding it more difficult to get players on board. I guess it's finding a balance between not bringing in any old player because they are available and not missing out on the best available players. Got to give TM the benefit of the doubt on this, he has a good track record.
Would be nice to see some new faces but that is more me missing football and getting excited for the new season tan being concerned about lack of signings.
I would rather wait and get one Michael Jacobs type signing who has been linked than 3 like Miller, Nouble and Pugh, and there are others i could add to that list

Yes Stokes, whoopee, wouldn't call it a signing considering already been told 1 million times he will just put pen to paper as no other options presented to the lad once he returns from Honeymoon.

With a preseason behind him Stokes should be a solid acquisition, looked nervy at first but done well after that.
It is too hot for him. Plus he needs to recover from several weeks of sunbathing and tweeting.
Mowbray wants Sam Ricketts and wants Reda to be here as a new central defensive partnership.
