TRANSFER: Coventry City agree to sign Marko Marosi
Well, there's a surprise. Never heard of him, although I've seen him play twice this year.
Sounds like Donny see him as their Burge, good shot stopper but crap at crosses - roll on the hate before he even has his gloves on!
Marosi - Viking Chat
Looks like he turned down Doncaster as they weren't offering him enough?
Doncaster Rovers: Marko Marosi departs
Promising we are taking players from playoff teams, 3 year deal as well.
Can't be arsed to read that as I have an ad blocker turned on.
Tweets from Donny fans don't make for great reading. Good shot stopper, crap at crosses. Excellent.
How was he against us in the last game of the season?
Shock, that football fans state player leaving them is shit...
Was this rumoured? First I've ever heard the name. Looks like he was the main goalkeeper in a team that made the playoffs though, so good omens as far as I'm concerned.
Didn’t have a lot to do. One save from Hiwula is all I can remember.
42 appearences and minutes away from playoff final. i know burge did similar but that was league 2. hes gotta be an upgrade
“He’s good at distributing the ball which is vital to the way we want to play” - MR
Big fuck you to Burge.
Can't remember Burge making one pass all season
While it should be useful, one of the worst things to do when looking at a new signing is ask the fans of the team they're leaving.
A Donny season ticket holder has told me that hes an excellent shot stopper just not brill on crosses
Like Brown and Ogogo?
Would us playing at the ricoh have influenced his decision
Definitely cost us promotion

There was a thing on the Telegraph site about how despite the Ricoh stuff the recruitment is cracking on regardless, so it's good to see evidence of this.
He doesn't look too happy in the pic the offal has used...Marko Morose-i...
Couple of good saves here but 2 decent goals scored for us
Nothing to do in the last game.
I'd be worried if he was the only keeper we were bringing in, but seeing as there's one more to come I'm happy. Make Marosi and whoever compete for the job in preseason and whoever comes out on top deserves the job IMO. And Robins comment about him being an "important part of the squad" has me confident the other keeper has better pedigree.
I'd be surprised if we are signing him as a number 2 when Doncaster couldn't get anywhere near his demands as their first choice.
he prob will be number 1 but competion is healthy. he is young too and only just started playing first team2 years ago it seems so hopefully he will push on with cov
great to see recruitment continuing. lets get all our targets and go for championship regardless of where we play(hopefully ricoh though)
Didnt he get an assist when Bright scored?
Nice to see us signing decent players to hopefully keep us moving forward. Surly they must be given some inside info on the stadium situation as it would be one of the first things id be asking if i was in contract negotiations.
It does appear Robins is getting some backing tho!
Also positive that we don’t appear to be letting the ground uncertainty
a) slow down the transfer process/activity
b) result in us switching to plan b or c in terms of recruitment. Outbidding teams when we don’t know our budget
It surprises me but I’m not complaining. Robins is determined to give it a real go next season regardless!
There is a picture on his agents twitter account with him holding the shirt with the number 1 on the back
I've heard he isn't good on crosses but is a great shotstopper, hope that insight helps

Not exactly rave reviews from their fans, but fan opinion on keepers is more likely to be divided as it’s a high profile position. Plus, some players adapt and find form/up their game when they move clubs.
Saying that, I assume he’ll be our second choice keeper. I know MR said he wants two keepers to compete for the starting spot, but I’m hoping the other is the stronger of the two.
Edit: that reads more negativity than I intended. I’m by no means writing him off.
