If it was possible this would definitely be our best scenario along with a real concerted effort to target anti wasps feeling in the city.

Get the franchise scum out of Coventry!

Well! Don't just sit there. Get proactive and capitalise on this anti wasps feeling in the city and organise something!

Won't happen of course. I think most people see Sisu as the main impediment to progress for this football club and Wasps ownership of the Ricoh as a symptom of their incompetence.

Really gonna believe there's genuine intent regarding the Butts? After the biblical amount of bullshit and contradiction we've already had?
Fisher must be laughing his cock off at the likes of you.....

Chiefdave's right anyways. Cov council should call their bluff on this until they no longer have room to squirm.

We want answers to pertinent questions, but those questions are rarely asked, and when they are TF isn't given the chance to answer. Instead of assuming he talks shit and shouting him down, people should actually listen to the answers and offer counter-arguments and facts that back them up. Just shouting abuse achieves nothing. What have we learnt as a direct result of the questions tonight? Almost nothing. The BPA new was out anyway. Other than that, we learnt pretty much zilch.

I doubt anything happened after that though, he had two blokes with him. I went the other way round the corner with the dogs as they get sparked up at the slightest bit of drama and were already barking the night away at the sounds of 'Fishhhhheeeeeeerrrrrr' echoing across the street.

They need to stay outside the ground though.
There is a good chance if they go in they might like it.:angelic:

So many complaining about the questions well if you are that bothered get of your arse and go or do some of the protests and vent the anger where it is deserved. AS it is written take the plank out of your own eye before you try to take a splinter out of your brothers eye

The problem I have with the Butts Park Arena is the ground share with Cov Rugby Union. As well as Coventry Bears Rugby League play there, plus the agreed use of the Pitch by Cov United FC.

There was a quote when Cov Utd agreed to play there that CCFC knew all about it and it wasn't a problem.

They came across from the city arms car park I think.

It looked very agressive from where I was and the dogs went mental so I dragged them away.

I was further down the street from you by the sounds of it so I don't know if that affected one of our takes on it.

Definitely happened though.

To be honest if you got the planning sorted you could get something up very quickly. Just whack up temporary stands and build the permanent ones over the next few years.

For example this is all temporary:

My point really is the fact that 4 teams (including CCFC) could be playing on that pitch, although I believe the bears play in the summer, but still 4 on the same pitch.

The smaller venue at the Belgrade holds 250, that would be good for a more structured Question Time type event.

For heavens sake, that is PR bollocks. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED, I don't believe they are seriously talking to anyone, there are just a series of sops to fend off the FA, as long as SISU can hold on to the club without it costing money of them being faced by a true competitor they don't give a damn. I suspect the reason they are now talking about the Butts is to undermine Cov Utd in case they start to squeeze their revenue streams.

No need to do anything , top of the league , euro last 8 and they still need 000s of freebies to inflate attendances.
Rugby never has and never will generate enough to cover the way they are spending on every player that becomes available.
A couple of years then the stadium will be up for grabs again.
