Just turned it on for the second half, we seem to be getting muscled off the ball very easily

Strachan made the same point at half time. Said we weren't strong enough.

But still much better than yours the same tired old tripe more interested in defending thorn than the welfare of the club. What about the first 23 games. Did our relegation have nothing to do with them. Was our midfield 19 then? Really your man love for thorn is disturbing.

In the first 23 games, as with the balance of the season, we played more youngsters, more often in more positions than any other club - by a mile. And got the result our lack of investment deserved. It's all been proven many times over.

And your hatred for Thorn, and inability to see anything other than the oh-so-obvious does you a disservice on a par with your implied homophobia

I have said before the first 23 games were awful from everyone within the club. The team were adjusting and had to regroup to life without King, Turner, Gunnarson, Westwood etc.

It took about 13 games too late for the club to recover from the summer clearout.

Sharp goes down in the box, but the ref gets the decision right. Both Coventry players challenging got the ball.

I am sure kduffy does not 'hate' Thorn. Rather he probably believe he is way out of his depth in the job.

His posts would have balance to them we're that the case. But they're not. They're predictable, opaque and blind. If criticism can be mustered, he musters it

Hooiveld for Saints from a corner mele. We're going to need to find some youth players with height and strength (assuming Sisu won't spend anything on the team).

Do you mean 'too' dense?

Adams led us to an 8th place finish, yet was sacked as soon as things went a bit wrong the following season (after Mcsheffrey was sold). Did Dowie really do that badly? He was working under a transfer embargo for quite a while when he was here. Boothroyd was under an embargo as well, he was quickly turned on as well, despite the fact he lost key members of the team and wasn't able to replace them.

And Thorn has been under an embargo so what is your point....

Adams did lead us to 8th place but that was largely Wise's doing, first 6 months of the season we were poor, signed Wise and had a great 6 months. Wise left and back to shit.

Most of the managers under achieved or spent money terribly, look at the team Coleman had at his disposal. Westwood, Gunnarson, Tabb, Best, Dann, Fox, Morrsion, Ward, Mifsud and he finished 17th or so with those players in the squad.

Anyway I don't want to argue about the quality of past managers, the point was Thorn has been give considerable less financial backing than past managers and there is no denying or avoiding that fact.

We are disgraceful. Absolutely pathetic. Those kids will get fried in league one. This is going to be 5 or 6 nil.

What a sad and depressing attempt. They LOOK like league 2 to me. Thorn is clueless. . "We can answer some questions today" really?

The only question we have answered is"are you the worst side coventry city have ever had? With the worst manager coventry city have ever had. " answer YES

PATHETIC

Why don't you read the comment before commenting, I said it took us about 13 games to late for us to regroup from the summer exodus.

Has he ever met Thorn? Does he know his personally?

If he has no confidence in him as a manager, then how can he be expected to praise him? If any sort of takeover was to take place then Thorn would be out of a job, no doubt about it.

He maybe a nice guy and tried his hardest for the cause but he is not cut out for the job, it is not a popularity contest, we need to get someone in who can work with the restraints in place at the club.

Serious question:

Do you think he's had the tools to prove whether he's cut out to do the job or not?

It's boys against men. Second top against second bottom. We can't judge next season on this game.
