You want me to produce every transfer over a couple of million ever recorded? The burden of proof is on you mate. Thats not how this works.

I’ve checked Isak and afaict he was playing for every clubs he’s transferred to within the first couple of games.

Apologies but you said the hard data said so and i asked you to show me

For me its perfectly normal for a footballer to join a club and not be match fit ,as lampard alluded he never had a proper pre season and the biggest example is isak when he joined liverpool for over 100 million

I can’t prove a negative. Thats quite literally impossible.

Isak signed 1st Sept and was playing in the league within three weeks of arrival. He’s also recognised as a massive flop so not sure it’s the best example for why a signing isn’t a flop.

Ypu said the facts showed it , so there is no data ? Hes a top footballer though , and come on be fair we signed cherif 2 weeks ago from a lesser league

FFS I love you mate but I can’t keep explaining it. The “data” is every transfer where a player has signed and played within a couple of weeks of signing. If you want me to send it to you I’m sending you the entirety of transfermarkt.

My position is it’s very unusual for this to happen when a player signs for a normal fee and isn’t immediately injured. I cannot prove it never happens, that can only be disproven by someone posting a number of players where it has happened to show it’s “normal”. Isak isn’t a bad shout, but as I say he was playing pretty quickly after signing. If Cherif gets on the pitch tomorrow I’d say it’s equivalent. But Isak was seen as a flop and I’ve said I’d only be worried about Cherif if we’ve still not seen him in a couple of weeks as 2-3 weeks to get fit is the end of normal.

3-4-3?

If we ever get on the ball I agree. I expect mostly it’ll be big T plowing a lonely furrow while the wingers double up with the wingbacks.
Doesn’t look easy to fit Rudoni into the setup is my main issue.

I'm guessing Gboho has been training with us since Wednesday?

Hamer injured or dropped completely here?

What Frank is saying is that he will not play 90 mins but may come off the bench. Can see him doing a cameo at some point but not if we are 1-0 with 5 mins to go..I can but dream!

Well he must have been in disguise then as there are camera's everywhere!
It said the transfer was agreed on Tuesday, so not a wild assumption to think he may have already trained with us prior to this afternoon's announcement. I'm guessing we've sorted accommodation, etc for him.

"A deal for 25-year-old Gboho was agreed and submitted to the Premier League prior to Tuesday's transfer deadline.

However, it required ratification from Fifa, which has since been provided. The move is now subject to UK visa approval."

The wheel's if progress move slowly in the departmental responsibility in visas,
et al!

Don’t care if we get spanked tomorrow, just as long as we see an improvement in fight and fear over Arsenal.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

Man City are the kind of team that can spank you even worse than Arsenal if on it unfortunately. They've been absolutely pulling apart better teams than us for years now.

That’s fine. Just don’t want the players to be scared.

There’s zero pressure on us here, but I want us to play like that.

Uugh. I don’t even want to think about this game. Got a feeling that we’re going to get hammered. Only good thing I can see about this game is that at least it’s out the way.

Cherif still building fitness so unlikely to start or playing meaningful minutes as per Lampard. How have we managed to sign someone so unfit?
You have unfit, average fitness for the club a player is with....then you have fitness needed for the Prem.

Cherif is moving up several levels. We have signed him because of what he can do and not how fit/unfit he is. That would only have been found out in training. A medical doesn't show fitness over 90 minutes.

In Manchester tonight, planning on Spoons etc around Piccadilly and not expecting much near the ground?
