    I was half being sarcastic...

The main reason the crowd was low for the Yeovil game according to most fans is because of the ticket pricing. So who can argue with a fiver?

Or (as I'll predict) the excuse this time is: 'oh its only Exeter' or 'oh its only the JPT'. Fact is CCFC are playing so they have made it affordable to all to go and see them play.

Tickets for the Sky Blues' home JPT clash with Exeter City at the Ricoh Arena will be £5 across the board
The Sky Blues are making ticket prices for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy match against Exeter City at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday, October 7, £5 per person.

That’s a fiver for adults, concessions and children, with tickets going on priority sale to 2014/15 Season Ticket holders and members on Monday, September 22. They will then go on general sale on Thursday, September 25.

Not really interested in JPT personally.

Excited for the Preston game though!

I'm panicking now. I'm camping outside the shop after work just to make sure I can get a ticket. At a fiver a time the demand will be unprecedented. I'm not stupid....

you cant complain at £5, but it will be no different in attendances to what we had in JPT home legs before we went to norhampton, so i imagine 8-10k, once we reach area semi we may hit bigger numbers

i will be there, and just like the wycombe game i expect Pressley will field a team of Coventry academny lads and fringe players

Absolutely. I've seen football there twice in my 48 years, once in May 1987 and once in August 1987. I'd like my lad to experience that feeling.

It is indeed. Ought to win, wth the chance of a goal or two. Attendance won't be great though - is it anywhere for any club in early JPT rounds?

I wouldn't expect much more than 10k. The Preston JPT was probably my best Ricoh moment for the late drama.

Probably not. But my point being is people moaned because the ticket prices were too high. So on that basis considering the tickets are £5 the Ricoh should pretty much sell out, no?

No - it is still the early rounds of a minor trophy being played in midweek against a small club. The £5 ticket ought bring a few more in for sure, but not 32k (although I wish it were so).

But I thought ticket prices were the be all and end all? Some people seem to have very short memories on here.

They could be free , still would struggle to get 32k for a 2nd round JPT game v exeter , the competition has notoriously low attendances throughout the country

They should also be telling people to keep their stubs just in case we progress further.

Whilst I fully agree, with our home coming, then moaning about prices and using that as an excuse for the Yeovil attendance, there's no excuse for a sub 11k attendance....

....except Exeter are rubbish, who'd pay to watch them.... ;)

Depends if they have just moved back and the fans making a big deal out of ticket prices being too much although I am sure some may think up new reasons not to go now they can't use the price line.

The club should state now that everybody should keep their stubs and IF we get futher along and at Wembley then the people with the most stubs will get priority.
