Bookings being taken for Sky Blue bus to Jimmy's Hill this Sunday.

This Sunday v Gillingham is not about protest just having an afternoon out and watching (two thirds!) of the game plus of course the summit meeting to plan for sheff u. My guess is numbers will be lower than last week for Colchester but I do need to cover the cost of the bus so anyone up for it - £5 adults, under 18s Free, 1pm departure - please email keepcovincov@gmail. And don't worry about the weather cos if it rains you can sit on the top deck of the bus and watch the game from there!

Just a question, what would you do if you couldn't see the game from the Hill?

I don't see what the difference is if it isn't a protest than travelling to Northampton to watch the game using a free ticket? People are opposed to the club being moved and protest heavily yet still travel to watch them?

The level of interest would be such that you could hire a tandem and still have room for one more.

This is all quickly becoming a joke (if it wasn't already) culminating in the sheff utd game on sky, when everyone watching on tv will be thinking "look at all those fans standing on the hill who are too tight to pay for a ticket".

So now its finally been admitted that the hill is just a convenient spot to watch free football & its not really about a protest whatsoever....

...can we agree that those who want to watch free football can go to the hill for Sheff Utd. game and those of us that wish to actually protest should do so in front of the cameras (ie...in the ground)

....hopefully now its over to the SBTrust to organise something within the ground that can be as popular as the march.....

Worse crime is making money out of our club's misery!
First a lame picnic, now a summit meeting at the top of Northampton's hill (NOT JIMMY's!)
If i was Sisu, i would cordone off the hill during City matches ;)
But maybe they like the free publicity fans generate!
How many had heard of Sisu before?
They rescue damaged companies!
Which damaged company would care about Sisu's marketing & customer service skills?
Joy must be delighted!
Michael, stop making out you're helping the club!
You're just making a few pennies out of CCFC's misery!

This is 100% becoming a joke now, I am sorry, but for all of 40-50 people on a hill trying to protest, who is looking? what is it achieving apart from you get to see 45 mins for free? what benefit has and will it gain? NOTHING is the sad but brutal answer to that! In all honesty IMO i hate sisu with a passion, as I do the FL ACL and the Council, but seriously 40 50 people with a couple of flags will achieve a huge and mighty F ALL.
The opportunity that presents itself vs Sheff Utd NEEDS to be used to its maximum potential and I am sorry, but the ONLY way ( IMO) and I may get shot down for this, is to really course a stir infront of the sky cameras for the whole nation to see what we think, and if that means filling the ground and making as much racket as possible with banners, throwing tennis balls on the pitch during the game, whatever you may feel is right, then so be it, but I tell you now, others around the country will simple LAUGH at a few on the hill.

FFS Blackburn with a smaller fan base did more than what we have done, all these trips to sixfields and to London are a joke, always have been always will be. Accept my apologise but the real way is INSIDE and make a real racket of it, imagine the utter madness if 10,000 turned up vs sheff utd, THAT would make media coverage none this pathetic picnic shite.

No they wont ,for a start everyone do no think the same, and secondly most people watching sheff utd v cov on a sunday afternoon on pay per view telly will be football fans more likely so say fair play to them fans for not going in I/we would do the same

Unfortunately you will get twats from other clubs thinking this, I dont find it funny in any way, but if the likes of Blackburn with a smaller population can organise a protest better than what we have managed ( apart from fans not paying to go) then unfortunately some will view it as a failure, some wont.

I would protest down by the Ground. But never go in.

When last sunday on sky , they had a reporter at the game and it was news that the crowd was the lowest in our history ,and they did explain what people were doing on the hill , next target get a lower crowd for the gills , it will be reported on sky as our lowest ever crowd , then take 4000 to port vale and we can say we take nearly double away from home , that's a good statement

You will find that the vast majority of fans have to walk down the hill and past the protesters, some asked whats going on but most know already and give is support.

Fair play to you if you would go to the ground still to protest outside, I just think the numbers would be a LOT lower if it was a ground like the Ricoh where you can't see in.

How would people react if SISU were to put a temporary fence up so people couldn't see in? Would SISU be the baddies or would people continue to protest as normal?

Sorry Michael. But the whole thing is a joke. You struggled to fill two coaches for away games last season and now you are digging your own grave with 'after watching 2 thirds of the game '. Obviously this is purely my opinion and feel free to tell me to fuck off. But it's all a bit embarrassing isn't it?

So despite keep Cov in Cov, away games only, etc people ARE willing to travel to Northampton.

If Sisu left tomorrow, but we had to fulfil our home fixtures at Northampton, I'd be the first up there, with all the rest of the hill group to buy season tickets.

I don't think the Trust will do it so I think we should organise between ourselves what to do with regards to the Sheff Utd game..

So you would still go even if it is in Northampton? I thought the whole argument was about taking the club to Northampton. So it is not about Northampton, it is SISU out after all?
