On a serious note, is there interest in him from elsewhere? Sometimes players are thrown on to increase the compensation due / persuade them to stay.
Did seem strange when others have been ahead of him.

He scored a few goals for the U18s last year and scored the reserves only goal against Stratford in pre-season.
Would expect the youth who have been ahead of him to still be ahead of him considering he hasn’t been in a squad before and didn’t feature in preseason.

It’s a strong age group with Perry, Batanwi, Andrews and Moore if he wasn’t injured playing for the 21s. Hope one or two can progress
