What wages would he be on though? Two moves since he was with us and a new and (probably) improved contract extension at United. Wouldn't surprise me if he was on £10K a week.

Interesting that Nottingham Forest have recalled Jorge Grant from Luton today, be well worth throwing our names in for a loan enquiry.

Can play comfortably anywhere in midfield and chips in with goals.

It probably didn't help him posting about wanting to be in bed when he first went on trial with a photo of the MK Dons training place. Wasn't the best start.

Think it's going to be the conference for him.

I’m not sure we need another poacher/pacey/technical striker, it’s another target man or link player we need, so more the Leon Clarke type than the Hepburn-Murphy.

If Evans is a creative midfielder who can play on the wing or in the middle, then I’d say with him Bright and Thomas (plus Allessani as back up) we should be covered wingers wise.

If Ogogo isn’t going to be the player we expected then we potentially need another more defensive minded midfielder to cover for Kelly, as unfortunately Doyle detracts from our play. Although Shipley could do that job if needed.

Best goals per minute in our squad by far! Worth £5m to anybody who wants him based on that.

Although I am not sure why Pompey would want to drop their strikers for him?

It just says a player with good potential and ability doesn't it rather than making out he's a superstar.

don't disagree - could simply be referring to his likely squad number...

I dont think it mentions the new player as a big number does it? It reads as if we have a big number of players so need to get some off the wage bill.

Can defo expect a few out of the door:

Andreu
Allassani on loan
Ogogo (possibly)
Ponti back out on loan?
Thompson possibly?
Camwell

I can definitely see more of the U23s being shown the door given how many we have brought in over the course of the season.

are we lagging behind a bit here? Rochdale sign Wolves's Ebanks-Landel and Man U's Ethan Hamilton, Accy sign Middlesboro's Luke Armstrong and Blackpool sign Palace's Nya Kirby.
That's 3 strikers and a midfielder, do we have anyone looking for players cos all we got is two unproven youngsters, gets me a bit worried.

Are all those you’ve named proven? Enobakhare has played at a higher level than we’re currently competing at.

Didn't somebody say we're hampered by FFP. I guess we're trying to move players out before more come in.

Ebanks-Landel is a defender / centre half
Ethan Hamilton has never played a competitive game
Luke Armstrong has played 6 times in Scottish League One
Nya Kirby has never played a league match

How proven / experienced are they compared to somebody who has played 41 games in the Championship and 6 in the SPL and can play in positions we need?

WUM?

Luke Armstrong- 10 goals in the National League- is that proven?

Ebanks-Landel- is a defender? A CB- our strongest position

Ethan Hamilton- Never played a senior game?

Kirby- Never played?

So they are all unproven youngsters?

Whereas barring Ebanks-Landel ( who as mentioned is a defender) Haven't played in the football league. Compared to Bright who has played at a top end championship club. If anything you should be happy.
